Description
We are the new event and gastronomy location in the middle of the Hanover region on the beautiful Steinhuder Meer.
The island resort offers conferences, events and weddings, good food and wines and an incomparable vacation - on one of the smallest inland islands in Germany. Due to we are surounded by nature, we aim to be a sustainable resort and try our best to protect the beautiful nature of our region.
We combine a wide range of dining options, from Portuguese tapas to home-baked cakes in a mason jar and picnic options. With a lot of creativity and modern approaches, our team brings a breath of fresh air to the region. We are looking for you to strengthen our island team and exchange culture, people and fun on this beatiful place.

Do you fancy a young team and great guests? Are you passionate about fresh, healthy and delicious food and drinks? Then become part of our innovative gastronomy concept in the middle of the Steinhuder Meer! We offer you a quick familiarization and introduction to the team, flat hierarchies in a young, motivated team in the middle of the Steinhuder Meer.
We pay the minimum wage required in Germany and provide free accommodation on the island. There are discounts on food and some teamlunches, but you are responsible for it yourself.

We are an international and young team and everyone brings a lot of different experiences and values with us. We are proud of our diversity and the beautiful region in which we are allowed to work. The strong connection between the location and Portugal offers many points of contact with the history of the island.

Aide
kitchen assistant:
- main working hours in the evening
- assist in food preparation for events and the á la carte restaurant
- support the kitchen team during events e.g. grilling, food presenation
- support in cleaning the dishes
- ensure that utensils and work areas are clean and ready for the next shift
- knowledge of general kitchen operations would be great
- basic German knowledge desirable but not required
service worker, all-rounder:
- serving food and beverages, (event, breakfast, kiosk, restaurant)
- preparation and serving of breakfast for hotel guests
- participation in the preparation and implementation of events
- support in cleaning the dishes
- perform cashier duties in the kiosk
- basic German knowledge is required

Hébergement
On the island there is a small guest house with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. This is available to our team and offers all the necessary comfort and retreat on the island. The possibility of cooking, as well as a grill and a small garden are also available

The nature park offers a great opportunity for excursions, water sports such as SUP, sailing or windsurfing. The proximity to Hanover offers a wide range of culture and events.
