  Description

  Hi,
  we are a family in Tuscany with two lovely kids and a baby. We speak German, English and Italian and live in a beautiful typical old country house with garden. We need help with animal, vegetable garden and chickens.
  During your time here you can enjouy our lovely Tuscany. We have a big house right on the forest where the Francigena streetgo across (Italian Santiago Pilger street) that bring you to San gimignano by walk, also we have waterfall (divorrato), a bus stop is 10 min walk. Otherwise the city is 5 min by bike or 15 min walk.
  
  Goals
  We would love to exchange our culture and give the possibility for a host to live in the beautiful Tuscany in exchange of a help with everything (gardering, cooking, take/bring kids from/to school, house maintenance...).
  
  Tasks
  Usually we ask help on the morning and maybe a bit of contribution also after dinner; We need help with everything from help with the kids, feeding the chickens, setting up the vegetable garden, helping at home or cook...
  We like if you can follow our time plan routine and make the breakfast and meals with us.
  But after the morning you can spent your time as you wish, visit: San Gimignano, Volterra, the Francigena street, Parco fluviale Elsa with waterfall Diborrato, the 15 degree cold water natural bath Vene and Caldane, the hot water natural bath Petriolo, the wine, olive oil and lavanda Farm, or just have a walk on the forest close to our house or take a breakfast with cornetto and cappuccino on the typical italian bar that is 15 min walk from us trough the wonderful hill from Tuskany.
  
  Us
  We try to live with an ethical and as much as possible natural approach. (Waldorf school, fair trade and local shopping, libertarian education, communication elimination, food saving, conscious use of earth resources) ... We like to collect local and wild vegetables and herbs in the forest... We eat everything, but we try to restrict meat consumption as much the kids likes and alcohol only when we have guest, we are not smokers and try to imitate the smart phone consumption in front of the kids.
  Finally we also work on the PC to pay the rent. 😊
  
  
  IMPORTANT !!!
  - 1. We are looking for NOT smoker open mind and flexible person, that DO NOT SHOWER every day!
  - 2. Before to visit us we like to have a VIDEO CALL with the person to understand their wishes, we like to host a person for MAXIMUN ONE WEEK, a second week or longer time it is possible to plan only after we get us know personally.
  - 3. Please arrive and live between -> 8:00 and 17:00 <- (usually you need the Bus from Florence train station "Santa Maria Novella" to Colle di val d'Elsa) then we pick you up.
  
  
  RULES
  - RESPECT THE PRIVACY if you like to live a very short reference on the workaway web site, please keep information regarding us reserved. We have kids and we do not like to have too much information on line.
  - DO NOT FORCE YOUR STAY. If you visit us please keep in mind that we need help 5h daily, and also to help a bit on daily life as a part of the family (help to prepare the dinner, reorder and clean what you use..).
  We wish that the energy between us work well, if this is not the case, be ready to approach us and talk. We like you to enjoy your stay in Italy and not to be forced to stay with us if with us it does not work. But mostly of the time it works if you can adapt and help with our routine and talk about your wishes and needs.
  - BE INDEPENDENT AND AVOID US STRESS. we are very busy and need help, for sure we can help with excursion planning in DINNER TIME but please be ready to be indipendent and check public transport connection alone. Here Google maps work wonderful for this.

  We offer a stay in a old country house with garden in the beautiful tuskany surrounding, we live in a little country village close to forest, waterfalls, wonderful panoramic hills where you can see San Gimignano. We offer a bilingual Italian German family language.
  A strong culture for local Italian and experimental food, art, Design.
  
  Mama is a designer and likes to make art project, papa is an informatic and like to build with wood and loves bikes.

  Aide

  Our wish is a person (not smoker) that has experience with:
  - set the vegetable garden
  - baby/children care
  - cooking meals
  - house and garden keeping and cleaning
  - and it is curious to learn about different cultures.
  
  You are wellcome to stay one week then we can decide if we can work together longer and maybe came back and stay up to a year.

  The all family speak Italian and we can help you with learning Italian. The papa is German and we have also this language to offer you. We would like to learn English, Spanish and French but also all the other languages are welcome from Romanian to Japanese... ;)

  We offer you a own room with double size bed and a private bathroom

  Autres infos...

  You will be In a little old village close to Cole val d'elsa (15 min by walk, 5 min by bike and 3 min by car) with his waterfall.
  We live right behind a forest, and close by (10 min auto) the beautiful San Gimignano.
  We take part to local fest and event we like art projects.
  If you have your own bike or car it is very useful, otherwise we can share our but the car has 20 years and no automatic "frizione"...
