  Description

  I am looking for a person passionate about art for a study, research and realization of an exhibition on a little-known bohemian artist who lived in the middle of the last century; this artist was a poet, man of letters, an important translator and painter.
  In conjunction with the exhibition, a catalog will be created.
  A second part of the project, due to the artist's cultural connections, requires the translation of his texts and poems into Russian, as the exhibition should become itinerant involving also some cities in Russia.

  Sto cercando una persona appassionata d’arte per uno studio, ricerca e realizzazione di una mostra su un artista bohémien poco conosciuto vissuto nella metà del secolo scorso; questo artista è stato un poeta, letterato, un importante traduttore e pittore.
  In concomitanza della mostra è prevista la realizzazione di un catalogo.
  Una seconda parte del progetto, per collegamenti culturali dell’artista, necessita la traduzione dei suoi testi e delle poesie in lingua russa, in quanto la mostra dovrebbe divenire itinerante coinvolgendo anche alcune città della Russia.

  SOMETHING ABOUT ME
  I live in Tuscany in Viareggio, I am 61 years old, single and two cats and some goldfish live with me.
  I am a sociable and open person, curious, I think that meeting people from different cultures, but in general anyone, can always become a great personal enrichment; I am passionate about art (I am not an expert), music, theater, nature, animals and the good things in life.
  I am a vegetarian and I try to eat, as much as possible, natural and organic, a lover of biodynamic wines.
  
  WHERE I LIVE
  Viareggio is located between the "Tyrrhenian-Ligurian" sea, the natural park of the "Alpi Puane" mountains, the natural park of "San Rossore" and the lake of "Massaciuccoli".
  Viareggio is located 25 km from Pisa and Lucca (for me the most beautiful Tuscan city), 80 km from Riomaggiore, the first city of the national park of “Cinque Terre”, 100 km from Florence and close to many other historic cities and interesting places, all easily reachable with the train or bus (buses leave a few meters from my house).

  Viareggio is a city that has large sandy beaches a part with tourist accommodation facilities and a part natural and wild, for 150 years on the avenues of the sea one of the most important carnivals in Europe has been held, before Lent, with the parade of large allegorical floats and papier-mâché constructions.
  In Viareggio was born the artist Lorenzo Viani who is considered the greatest Italian expressionist and one of the greatest Europeans, the city hosts the GAMC Museum where it is possible to have the most complete exhibition of his works difficult to find from other areas.
  In Torre del Lago, a hamlet of Viareggio, there is the house where Giacomo Puccini lived in front of the lake which was a source of inspiration for the composition of some works including “La Madame Butterfly” in its tragic epilogue. In summer, the "Pucciniano Festival" takes place here with the performance in the open-air theater, located right on the shores of the lake, of some of his operas and other artistic events.
  It is possible to go on excursions on the lake, in the mountains and in the pine forests, to visit the caves of karst origin "Antro del Corchia".
  In the nearby Lucca the Lucca Film Festival takes place in the spring, while in the summer the Summer Lucca Festival attracts famous singers from all over the world, in the Autumn the Lucca Comics & Games fair takes place, one of the most important representations in Europe for Cosplay.

  Aide

  This project, which concerns an artist (painter, literary poet and translator) on whom research is still underway, involves a cataloging of his pictorial and literary works with the aim of creating an exhibition and a catalog. There is therefore a need to take photos of the paintings, many framed with glass. The translation of the poems into Russian is necessary for further development of the project to export the exhibition to Russia, as the artist was a critic of Russian poetry and literature in the Soviet period, also translating various works by important Russian authors.
  Both for the research / study and realization of the exhibition / catalog and for the translation it would be important for the person to feel involved in the project and to carry out these works with passion and with their own sensitivity.

  Hébergement

  My house is simple but welcoming, full of books, objects and of course paintings, it is not in the center but you can quickly reach every place by bicycle; Viareggio is not a big city.
  The guest room has a single bed and a half (you can see it inteh profile photo), I have a bathroom but two showers, in the garden I have a mini-pool with heatable watter with hydromassage.
  From Monday to Friday, I will usually be at work and leave the house early in the morning to return in the late afternoom, so the guest will have to manage breackfast and lunch indipendently with the kitchen and the food available.

  Travelers can pass is the bus with a bicycle or with the bus, Viareggio is small and can be turned around easily, has beautiful beaches and is located close to many cities of art for example: Lucca (km.30 by train 20 minutes), Pisa (km.27 by train 20 minutes), Florence (km.80 by train 1 hour).
