  Description

  Hello, if you are looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature, come and help me renovate it. In return, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful view and the dwelling house for yourself. I'm looking forward meeting you and helping together in the morning. My name is Hélène and I'm 54 years old. We live, my husband and our younger child 17 years old, in a village in the regional park of Morvan in Burgundy. During many years, I have done a lot of tasks in our house and garden. I acquired skills in renovation. Now, we have just bought, 5 minutes from our house,this small dwelling house and some old farm buildings. I have the project to welcome people on the site and to run a mini farm. I would like to create a fruit-garden and breed a few sheep, some chickens and a cow. This will be for our own consumption and to share with the people who come on the site.
  But for now, I am renovating the ground floor of the house to improve reception of the people.

  Aide

  You don't need any special skills. I need you to come and help me in the morning with my renovation tasks on the ground floor. We need to scraper and clean the old terracotta tiles in order to reuse them.
  I also need help with the maintenance of the outdoor spaces like taking out brambels,cutting hedges, passing the mower and brush cutter, install new fences.
  And We have to feed and take care of some sheep.

  We will be happy to communicate with you and improve our English or Spanish. We'll enjoy sharing our family evening meal with you for cultural exchange.

  Hébergement

  The place is in the countryside. If you haven't a motorized means of transport, I can get you at a train station and lend you two bikes.
  You can use the dwelling house during you stay. This is located at the end of the road and on the edge of the forest. You have a beautiful view of the valley and plenty of space. There is work on the ground floor of the house, but you can use the bedroom on first floor or a tipi tent set up on the grounds. You may share the shower in the bathroom that I just finish to install. Also you may share a summer kitchen and a living space set up under the shelter attached to the house. Moreover, you will use dry toilets under a shelter. Electricity and consumable water are provided.
  I buy food for you but I let you prepare it. This way you are free to eat what and when you like.
  I suggest that you come and meet my family some evenings and share a meal with us.I also take care of washing your laundry.

  The place is located in the Morvan park. You can use many very well marked hiking and mountain biking paths passing through hills, forests and rivers. We are 15 km from the town of Le Creusot, where is a TGV station " Le Creusot - Montceau-Les-Mines - Montchanin TGV" and 15 km from the town of Autun. Autun is a city with many historical and touristic interests.
