  Description

  We are a small NGO based in Ecuador South America, we have work in 3 main areas: a) support of amazon indigenous peoples territorial rights b) building of bamboo homes for victims of the past 2016 earthquake and for families in extreme poverty and vulnerability and c) we support the practice of basketball in a small fishermen village called Tonchigue to help kids keep away from drug abuse and provided them with support in their education.

  The place of our project is the fishermen town of Tonchigue on the coast of Ecuador, Tonchigue has about 5000 people and their main activity is fishing. Tonchuigue has a beautiful beach and all year tropical weather with an average temperature of 27C˚ or 87F˚.
  
  Our place offers a unique opportunity to spend time next to a tropical beach, learn Spanish, learn about the local fishermen culture and spend time with young people who want to grow in a healthy way, play basketball, soccer and probably surf and dive.
  We offer accommodation in a nearby nice hotel with internet connection, swimming pool and large lush gardens.
  The opportunity to visit Ecuador, a small Country with an incredible diversity of mountains, volcanoes, jungles, and beaches.

• 

  Aide

  We need an English teacher to teach English to the kids of a town’s basketball team ages from 10 to 18. Ideally but not mandatorily, someone experienced in Basketball training who can also help along with the actual coach and show him other skills and methods of training.

  Accommodation will mainly happen in a near by hotel that counts with large lush gardens, swimming pool, and comfortable rooms, We will also provide space to stay at the outskirts of Quito, the capital of Ecuador, a city of 2 million.
  
  We will provide 3 meals a day on working days and on each site Working days are monday through friday .
