    Description

Hello! We are Rodin, Victor, and Sasha—three people united by a shared vision to create something extraordinary in the heart of the jungle near Bacalar.

I’m Sasha, the newest addition to the team. I’ll be your primary point of contact and the one communicating with all applicants. I speak English, Polish, Russian, and Ukrainian, and I’m here to guide you through the process of joining our project and to support you during your stay.

Rodin, the heart of our project, is a skilled craftsman and seasoned traveler whose passion for building and love for nature shape everything we do. He has lived in France and Brazil and speaks French, Portuguese, Spanish, and English. His life experience, from navigating challenging situations to immersing himself in diverse cultures, makes him a resilient and creative guide. Tired of the fast-paced modern world, Rodin found peace in Bacalar, where life slows down, and the natural world takes center stage.

Victor, Rodin’s brother, is our kinda operational manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly and supporting the day-to-day tasks of the project. Victor also speaks English and plays a vital role in making sure the vision we’re building comes to life.

We’re building cabanas in the jungle, just 2 km from Bacalar, with the goal of fostering a deeper connection with nature. Rodin’s expertise in working with wood, paired with his extensive knowledge of sustainable living, makes this an incredible opportunity for anyone who joins us.

The work is hands-on but accessible—you don’t need prior experience. All you need is a willingness to learn, an open heart, and a readiness to explore life in the wild.

This project is more than just construction; it’s about creating community, sharing stories, and learning to live in harmony with nature. Join us in crafting something truly special—we can’t wait to meet you!

    Why Join Our Cabanas Project?
This is more than just a building project—it’s an opportunity to grow, connect, and embrace life in its purest form.

    - Overcome Fears and Rebuild Confidence

Sometimes life leaves us doubting ourselves or feeling unsure about our path. The act of building—creating something tangible with your hands—can help conquer those fears. It’s a chance to restore confidence, face challenges head-on, and rediscover your strength and purpose.

    ------

We love to joke, share stories and listen to music, creating a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. However, we do not enjoy alcohol and ask anyone with an alcohol dependency refrain from applying.
    -----

It’s not all work! Together, we can explore the jungle and its hidden treasures:

    - Document the Past: you’ll have the chance to collaborate on a documentary about the ruins located on the cabana grounds.
Film makers and creative souls are warmly welcome!

    - Fireplace Evenings: Relax under the stars, sharing stories, jokes, and music around the fire.

    - Adventures Nearby: Go hiking, rent bikes or scooters to explore Bacalar, or take the kayak or ATV for a spin.
