  Description

  My name is Karlie and I am a 30 year old woman living in Santa Ana, California. I have a 2 year old tuxedo cat named Murphy. She is very talkative and friendly to anyone she meets. She loves to play but is also content lounging around for most of the day. I also have a snake named Nick that needs limited care.
  
  I will be gone from August 20th to September 4th and will need someone to look after my pets and house sit while I am gone. Please note that I am currently looking for a female Workawayer for this house-sitting opportunity. Thank you for respecting this preference.
  
  Santa Ana is a vibrant fun town with lots to do, wonderful food, and great weather. I am 10 miles from the coast with multiple beach options.

  Santa Ana is 10 miles away from the coast and 15-20 minutes away from many great beaches like Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, or Balboa Beach. There are whale watching tours you can book at Balboa Beach.
  
  There is a large shopping mall 5 minutes from my house with many restaurants and a regal movie theatre.
  
  Downtown Santa Ana has a lot of great shops and bars.
  
  The John Wayne airport is easy to fly into and 15 minutes from my house. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Located about 41 miles northwest, this is the largest hub in the area and offers the widest variety of international and domestic flights.

  Aide

  I will be on vacation in Europe from August 20th to September 4th. I need someone to house sit for me but mostly importantly I would love someone who loves cats and is not afraid of snakes.
  I also have a pet snake that needs water added to his dish and to be fed twice while I am gone. He is very small and docile. If you are not comfortable feeding him I can have a friend stop by. I do however need someone who can add water to his dish. He keeps to himself and will not bother you if you open the door to add water.

  I have a 1 bedroom 789 Sq. Ft. apartment, so it is pretty spacious. Since it is just the one bedroom I will make up my bed for you to use. I also have a washer and dryer in my bathroom. I have a balcony that’s a great place to hang out and have a morning coffee. My apartment complex has a pool, a gym, and a duck pond that is great for walking around. Any food in my house is yours to eat! As long as you have a drivers license and insurance I am comfortable with you driving my car. I only have one designated spot in my complex and visitor parking is limited. If you have your own car it may be hard to always find a visitor spot or parking nearby but not impossible. My apartment complex is gated and very safe. I have one “clicker” that can be used to go through the gate nearest my apartment and a code to get into the gate nearest the visitor parking.

  Nick Miller (2 ans)

  My snake Nick is a non venomous corn snake. He is very docile and shy. There is no reason to take him out of his cage - I do not hold him that often because of his anxiety. I feed him a frozen (and then thawed) pinkie mouse once a week. If you are not comfortable feeding him I can have a friend stop by. I do however need you to add water to his dish daily. He will not bother you when you open the cage to do this.

  

  Murphy (2 ans)

  Murphy is pretty chill most of the day and will nap a lot but loves to be pet whenever. She will also probably sleep on the bed with you most of the night. She loves her wand toy and laser toy. She is a VERY talkative cat. She also enjoys sitting on the couch and watching a movie. And above all else she loves treats!
