Description
We are a small community-based initiative located in a rural village in West Bogor, Indonesia.
Our focus is simple but meaningful. We provide free English learning and informal educational activities for children in local schools, many of whom come from under-resourced backgrounds. We believe that even small actions can help create bigger opportunities for their future.
Life here is quiet, peaceful, and closely connected to nature. You will find rice fields, fresh air, and a slower rhythm of life. This is not a place for luxury, but a place for genuine human connection, cultural exchange, and learning together.
Our team is made up of local young people who care deeply about education and community development. We work collaboratively, sharing daily life and cultural experiences with volunteers.
Volunteers usually help through informal English conversation, cultural sharing, creative activities, and spending time with local children and youth. This is not formal teaching, but more about connection, encouragement, and learning together.
We provide simple local accommodation and usually share homemade Indonesian meals together as part of the cultural exchange experience.
What we love most about this place is the sense of togetherness. Conversations with the community, time spent with the children, and small daily moments often become the most meaningful experiences.
If you are open-minded, respectful, and comfortable with a village lifestyle, we believe you may find something special here.

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
Cultural exchange here happens in simple and genuine ways.
It can be found in shared meals, conversations with local families, laughter with children, quiet walks through rice fields, and moments that do not require perfect language to understand each other.
Volunteers will experience daily village life, local traditions, and the spirit of togetherness within the community.
We are always excited to learn from different cultures, stories, perspectives, and experiences, while also sharing our own local culture and way of life.
For us, cultural exchange is not only about where people come from, but about learning how to grow and connect together.
Aide
We’re not looking for perfect teachers, just kind, open-minded people who enjoy connecting with others.
Most of the time, volunteers simply spend time with local children and youth through basic English conversation, games, storytelling, cultural sharing, and small creative activities.
If you have skills or hobbies such as art, music, photography, sports, gardening, or anything creative, you are very welcome to share them in your own way.
Activities are usually done together as a team, so the atmosphere feels relaxed and natural, more like sharing daily life than formal work.
Volunteer activities are flexible and generally around 1–4 hours per day depending on the program and community schedule.
Langues

Anglais: IntermédiaireCet hôte propose un échange linguistique
We use English in daily communication and with the children. You’ll also have the chance to learn some Indonesian naturally through conversations with the team and local people. If you’re interested, you can also learn a bit of Sundanese, the local language spoken in the village. We believe language exchange happens best in simple, real life moments
Hébergement
Volunteers stay in a simple local village house near Bogor Regency. The accommodation is clean, safe, and designed to give volunteers a genuine experience of local community life.
Rooms are shared with other volunteers of the same gender, in respect of local culture and the predominantly Muslim community. Basic bedding is provided, including a mattress, pillow, and blanket.
The house includes shared common spaces and a basic Indonesian-style bathroom. Life here is simple and close to nature, not luxurious, but we do our best to create a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment for everyone.
We usually share simple local meals together whenever possible as part of the cultural exchange experience. Small local shops and affordable food stalls are also available nearby for additional personal meals and snacks.
Sometimes volunteers may also cook together with the hosts or help prepare meals as part of daily village life and community activities.
Autres infos...
In your free time, you can explore rice fields, nearby villages, local markets, and the peaceful nature around the area. Many volunteers enjoy simply walking, resting, reading, or spending quiet time with the community.
Life here moves slowly, which can be a refreshing experience for people who want to step away from busy city life and experience a more simple and grounded environment.
Transportation in the village is limited, so flexibility and an open mind are important. We will always do our best to help guide and support volunteers during their stay.
Our community values respect, kindness, and cultural understanding. We deeply appreciate volunteers who are adaptable, respectful of local traditions, and happy to experience daily village life in a simple way.
This is not a luxury experience, but for many people, that is exactly what makes it meaningful.
