  Description

  We are a couple (35 and 42 years old) with two children: a 4-year-old girl and a baby of just a few months. We are looking for a kind and responsible girl to join us this summer and become part of our daily life.
  We live in the beautiful Sorrento Coast, in Southern Italy, near Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. I manage some holiday apartments and vacation rentals, so during the summer season my work can become quite busy.
  
  I am looking for a kind, responsible and positive au pair girl who can mainly help me with my 4-year-old daughter. I also have a baby of a few months, so I would love to have someone who can spend time with my daughter while I take care of work and the baby.
  
  The help would mostly include simple daily activities such as:
  • playing with her
  • going to the beach together
  • helping entertain her during the day
  
  She is a sweet and energetic little girl who loves the sea, playing and spending time with people.
  
  You will have your private room with bathroom and a small private kitchenette available. My apartment is located on the upper floor and my mother lives in the apartment next to ours, so we are a close and welcoming family environment.
  
  All the apartments are located in a building right in the main square of Massa Lubrense, a lovely town very well connected to Sorrento by bus. Everything is within walking distance: supermarkets, cafés, shops and daily services, so it is very easy to move around without a car.
  
  In exchange, you will have the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy, surrounded by the sea, nature and amazing villages. In your free time you can visit Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Capri and many other wonderful places nearby.
  
  I’m looking for someone cheerful, caring and patient, who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and would like to experience authentic Italian family life 😊

  We would also love to create a real cultural exchange: we can spend time together, practice languages (my English is basic but I would like to improve), and I would be happy to teach you some simple Italian recipes. It would be great if, from time to time, you could also cook something simple for our daughter.
  
  During your stay, you may also have the chance to experience more of Italy with us. In June, we usually spend about 10 days in Calabria, where the sea is beautiful, and you would be welcome to join us. In July, we will celebrate our baby’s baptism, and you are warmly invited to take part—so you can truly experience everyday Italian family life and traditions.

  Aide

  The main help we need is with our daughter: playing with her, entertaining her, and spending quality time together in the afternoons. In the morning (until around 3–4 pm), she attends a summer camp, so your help would mostly be later in the day. Sometimes we would also love to go to the beach together or take nice walks.
  While you spend time with our daughter, I will mostly take care of the baby.

  Hébergement

  Our home is in a building in the town center. You will have your own private and fully independent space: a bedroom with a small kitchenette and a private bathroom. The room is located on a lower floor of the same building, while we live upstairs, so you will have your independence but still be very close to us.
  
  In the same building, my parents also live. They have a large terrace where our daughter often plays, so there is a warm and family-friendly environment around.
  
  The sea is very close to our home and can be reached in just a few minutes, even on foot.
  
  Regarding food, the girl is always welcome in our home and to eat together with us whenever she wants. However, if she prefers, she also has her own little corner with a small cushion where she can have meals by herself when she doesn’t eat with us. We will always make sure there is food in the kitchen with the things she likes, so she can feel completely independent.
