  Description

  Hi! We are Zindi and Werner and we live with our 2 kids near Cahuita, located on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. We are originally from the Netherlands, but now we manage a small lodge. We have a big garden with many types of fruit trees, a dog and 4 chickens. We are looking for a couple (or 2 friends) to help out with our lodge and our kids. But you will also have enough free time to explore all the beautiful beaches, national parks and waterfalls in the area!

  You will be able to enjoy life in the Caribbean. Our lodge is located about 6 km from Cahuita and 18 km from Puerto Viejo. You can learn how to surf, join yoga lessons, discover beautifull beaches. We only work with Costa Ricans, so being here can help you improve your Spanish and learn more about the Tico lifestyle. As we also live on-site, we look forward to sharing our experience with running a hotel and living in Costa Rica.

  Aide

  Volunteers will be helping 4 to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. The tasks are very diverse: one day you will help with the check-in of guests, other days you will spend gardening or helping us around our house with the kids.

  Hébergement

  We offer a private room with a double bed and a private bathroom with hot water. You will have access to the shared bar area of the hotel for cooking. We will provide you with basic groceries such as coffee, tea, rice, bread, beans and pasta so you can make 3 meals a day!

  A car or scooter will make your life easier. However, you will be welcome to join us for a ride to town and we can provide a bike (however, this will take around 35 minutes to Cahuita and 25 to the closest beach).
