  Description

  We have a vacation property in the Mara Lake area of British Columbia. We have been building a guest house on site for our friends and family to stay in while they visit us. We have built most of the house ourselves, and are now at a stage we need some help to get the finishing touches complete. Our property is located at the end of Cul De Sac on a secluded street, with a creek running through our back yard. We have a bunkhouse that will provide a peaceful sanctuary at the end of the day. There is a small town within 10 minutes of our home, and it is a 10 minute walk to the community beach at Mara Lake. The area of BC also has many wineries and other areas to visit and enjoy.
  
  We are looking for help to paint and stain the exterior wood for our home. The help will be done inside the guest house as we have not installed the wood siding yet. it will be a warm and dry place to work.

  Aide

  We have Cedar Wood planks that will be installed as the Exterior finish of our home. These planks 6" wide and range between 10' - 14' long. The task will be done using paint brushes and a water base stain. Both sides of the boards must be stained.

  The accommodations are as follows. Sleeping will be in a separate building we call "The Bunk House". It has 3 bunk beds, and can sleep 6 people. It is completely carpeted, heated, and furnished with a large TV and Couch. Meals will be prepared in the main house, which has full bathroom and shower facilities. There is also an outdoor hot tub which can be used. We have a fire pit area which is a great place to escape and relax at the end of the day.

  The town of Sicamous is just 10 minutes away, as well, the town of Enderby is 15 minutes away. There are many wineries in the area as well, Mara Lake is just a 10 minute walk from our front door. There are hiking trails that can be accessed all within 30 minutes of the cabin. You should have a rental vehicle as it would be difficult to get to many of the surrounding attractions without transportation.
  As this property is our Vacation property, we like to come here and spend our weekends on the lake in our boat, or just relaxing around our cabin. I am very handy and like to take on projects around the cabin which is part of why we decided to build our own guest house. We have spent many hours working to improve our cabin both inside and out and recently built an outdoor Tiki Bar to add to the experience when friends and family come to visit.
