  Description

  We are a young homeschooling family of five living an alternative and somewhat unusual lifestyle.
  
  We live in the beautiful seaside town of Ramsgate and love to spend our time outside in nature and at the local coffee shops.
  
  We have just moved out of our large house we ran as a retreat space and into a penthouse overlooking the harbour. We are very interested in holistic health and healing, so good food, exercise and lots more is always happening at our place.
  
  Our long term project is to obtain land and build a community/retreat centre which we'd love to share more about with you. We have big plans that we are squirreling away at.
  
  Through the Summer months we run a vegan street food business doing the rounds of festivals around the UK - the whole family attend the more spiritual/conscious retreats and Robbie works away for the others.
  
  In the Winter we have the possibility to travel more and we have several plans in the early stages for this year.
  
  Our children are aged 10,7 and 2. The older two will sometimes be at their dads house but our youngest will always be with us.
  
  Poppy works as a relationship coach as well as running retreats though in the past couple of years mothering is at the forefront of life.
  
  We are looking for somebody to join our family on all of our wild adventures.
  
  Sometimes our house is chaotic and busy with three children around so it is important to us that you are happy to roll with this. We also love music so are often dancing to tunes loudly while cooking.
  
  Community is really important to us so we often host friends and spend time in and out of London. We love to eat meals together and we are a plant based household.

  We are very passionate about alternative ways of living, ditching the system and returning to nature. Community living and support can create thriving and we hope our exchange would provide for us all.

  Aide

  Before you read on, it is important that your availability is ongoing and you are keen to come on a journey with us. Consistency with the kids is key so 6 months would be our minimum although longer would be ideal.
  
  If you have a passion for community living, alternative education and travel we may be the perfect fit for you.
  
  We would love you to spend plenty of time with us, to eat and play together and really feel at home. We are very relaxed and learning and embracing life as we go.
  
  The role with us includes:
  - 25 hours per week split over 5 days
  - Additional paid hours that vary depending on time of year, workload for us etc
  - helping with the organisation and management of the home/family
  - assisting with home education (Poppy will co-ordinate curriculums etc but would it would be really magical to have somebody that is interested in alternative education to bounce off
  - General household tasks like tidying, cleaning, laundry and cooking
  
  We hope that you would travel with us near and far so a passport is important 😊
  
  The children! Of course the most important thing is that you can build a strong relationship with all three of our children. They are all very different characters. Our youngest is wild and adventurous, our middle is laid back and loves spending time with his friends exploring outdoors, our eldest is intelligent, caring and strong minded.
  
  We are very keen on the children being submerged into the arts so if you play an instrument, sing, paint or anything else that would be an extra blessing for us.

  Ramsgate is genuinely a fantastic place to live. We are in Thanet and within very close proximity to Margate, Broadstairs and not far from Whitstable or Canterbury.
  
  There are many beautiful beaches and a great local community that is building all the time.
