  Description

  We live between Boulder and Estes Park in a single family home in 8,500 ft of elevation in Colorado, USA. We have a blue & gold Macaw and three lovely dogs. We are currently dividing our time between Germany and the US and are looking for a reliable animal and nature lover or couple that would enjoy our beautiful home in a lovely mountain neighborhood while we are away.

  We live in the middle of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and are surrounded by various trails and lucky enough to live in a wonderful neighborhood where people look out for each other. You will need a car because Boulder is 25-minute drive away and Estes Park is a 30 minute drive away. If you come during a time we both are away, you can use our car.

  Aide

  Take care of our three dogs and our parrot, which includes walks and lots of cuddle time. The bird sometimes requires strong nerves, since he can scream and is picky about "his" people. We are looking for people who love the outdoors and enjoy the peace and quiet our location provides.

  Mes animaux

  Jax (Jack Russell)

  Jax is a cuddle bug and has tons of energy. He loves playing with Arya and Rip and of course he also loves balls.

  Arya (Jack Russell)

  Arya is playful and sweet. She is not bouncing off the walls, but loves her play time and her naps.

  Rip (German Shepherd)

  Rip loves nothing more than playing ball and going for walks. He is very gently but also active and needs plenty of exercise.

  Sky

  Sky is a lovely bird. He is a bit shy around new people. He loves attention and interaction with the family. He enjoys occasional, gentle showers with the spray bottle twice a week. He can be very loud and screams once or twice a day for up to a minute, so anyone staying with us needs to be prepared for this. It is his nature and not something to get mad at or frustrated over.
