    Description

Hi! My names Sean, and I’m working on some communally owned land to try and live and learn sustainability! So far I’m working on building a earthen tiny house, planting fruit trees, building up the soil, and getting the different parts of life (cooking, water, bathroom, shelter) sorted as I go!

    Aide

The main thing I’d like help with is finishing the tiny house! I’ve got most of the structure up, and will be working on finishing the wattle and daub (mud/reed) walls and getting in the windows and doors! Other help might include cooking, compost-pile making, or making improvements to the living situation!

    Hébergement

Tents and wood stove cooking! As the house is still underway the lifestyle’s living off the land! I have 2 extra tents and some extra blankets, the weather is sunny and dry during the day and chilly at nights (sometimes down to freezing!) so bring warm clothes and sleeping gear if you have it!

San Mateo is a beautiful and very peaceful small town in the mountains. There isn’t much in the way of tourism, so it’s a great way to see a very sincere part of Mexico. There’s a beautiful river, a waterfall, lovely walks and views. We’re about an hours hike through the forest to get to town, on the way back you catch catch a Moro taxi if you like!
