Description
I'm Don. I have a home in St Thomas virgin Islands that was rebuilt after hurricane Irma.
Afterwards, we had a fire from hurricaine debris. I'm in need of a helper to garden, build, play with my cat (everyone loves him!) paint and clean, enjoy the beaches and island life.
Live in a nice quiet area with beautiful views!

We had a blast during our 2 month stay on the island. Don is a hardworking dude with a great heart. He always got us what we needed for basic food and helped us out anyway he could. Picked me up from the airport (the other workaway'rs said he did the same for them), so was nice to not have to spend $25/30 on a taxi, he kept the fridge/freezer overly stocked, so another great money saver, plus he gave us rides that were completely out of his way, several times... Don is a super friendly host! We tiled his shower and organized his tools. He gave us a ride to Bolongo Bay, which is a must see. His cat and our dog beca me friends. Wish we had more time, but we'll be back someday.

I had a great time helping Don with the house. I got to work on alot of different things and we worked together on alot of things as well. Though the most fun was the teamwork of downloading movies to watch in the evenings with dinner. This was my first workaway experience and I feel it will be hard to find a better one. I loved living in this house and helping Don every day. The house is very nice, the appartment even more, and Don is very easy going. Thanks again for this experience, I hope that the cat will not be too sad. I recommend !!
