  We are a couple living on the small beautiful island in Croatia. We have moved here to my old family house 4 years ago and exchanged the city life for a nice sea view :)

  We can teach you some gardening (from seed to fruit) and teach you about the olive oil production (we also have olive trees). Since the island is small and there are not many tourists off-season, it is an unique experience to live a proper Mediterranean life, right next to the sea :)

  Aide

  We are looking forward to host one or two people on the island (Prvić Šepurine, Croatia). Island is close to the mainland (10 minutes by boat). It is sunny and peaceful place (no cars on the island). We live in an old house in the centre of the village, 15 meters from the sea. A little bit of help is needed in the garden: planting tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, zuchini and peppers as well as general maintance of the garden and watering the plants. Garden is 5 minutes walking distance from the house and has around 100 m2. Additionally, we would like to have somebody to help with taking care of two pet turtles if needed, as well as with cooking vegetarian meals. Work should take no more than 20 h per week. We can offer you accomodation with a private bedroom and toilet, while kitchen is a shared space. Our house is really old and we will renovate it soon, so please do not expect luxurious accomodation, only the basic one :)
  We do have electricity, water, internet, etc... Also we can offer you some tips for travelling and exploring around as well as some local experience. Working schedule, free days etc. can be arranged according to your wishes and our needs.
  On the island there are two small bars, small farmer's market and two shops with basic food items. Beach is 3 minutes walking distance from the house. Only 200 hundred people live on the island, so there isn't much to do except enjoying the nature. Please do not except crazy nightlife, although we like to have some beers and hang out :)
  The closest city is Vodice (10min with a boat) and the first "big" city is Šibenik (1h with a boat), and Split and Zadar are 1-2 hour from Šibenik (bus). If you are coming with a car, we can offer you free private parking on the mainland. There is not much tourism going on the island in May and June, but it gets busier in July and August.

  Hébergement

  Private bedroom (1 double bed), private bathroom, shared kitchen and huge balcony with sea view. The house has many stairs so it is not suitable for people with physical dissabilities. Shop is 2 min walking distance from the house, beach 3 minutes.

  During your time off, you can enjoy the beach and the nature. Beside exploring the island, you can visitis some national parks around (Kornati and Krka) as well as take a hiking/camping trip around the beautiful Croatian cost or visit some of the cities around. There is a public transport (boat to the mainland), as well as taxi boats. We also have a small boat and a car to help with transportation if needed.

  We have a good internet connection that you can use for work. We do not work from home, so you can enjoy peace and quiet until 4/5 pm.

  We offer private parking spot for 1 car on the mainland (10 minutes by boat), but there are no cars on the island so you can't sleep in your vehicle.
