Organic farm help, learn and enjoy nature in this unique setting in Nan, North of Thailand

  Our organic farm is located in Pua city, within Nan province, in Northern Thailand.
  Currently, we are working on building more natural buildings on the farm, including bamboo huts and fences, and wooden houses.
  We have two water buffalo on our farm, named Tony and Laura. You will be able to help me take them to the river every day to clean them, and so they can cool off from the hot sun.
  
  We are a local family with a desire to preserve our simple, sustainable way of life so that we can give back to and protect mother earth.
  You are welcome to join me in meditation and yoga every morning to prepare our minds and bodies for the day’s work.
  
  Volunteers will work 4-5 hours per day, five days per week. You will have two full days off to explore the town of Pua and surrounding towns.
  
  Responsibilities will vary according to what needs to be done on the farm each day. Our motto is “Learn by doing”, so don’t worry if you don’t have any of the skills listed below, as we are very happy to teach you practically task-by-task.
  Tasks could include: chopping down trees and preparing the wood for building, carpentry through the building of wooden houses; building bamboo structures; building structures from nature; construction work such as laying cement, painting, and varnishing; preparing the land for farming; small tasks around the property like cleaning and maintenance; preparing and cleaning rooms for guests of the homestay; assisting me in my pizza restaurant some evenings when guests come for pizza (it’s a lot of fun and delicious!); assistance with the marketing of my farm and website development.
  
  We also have a vegetable garden that will provide you with three organic and nutritious meals every day. Meals are northern Thai style and all vegetarian (pescatarian options available too), but most importantly they are delicious and made with love .
  You will have a private Thai cabin to yourself and shared bathrooms. We believe in a simple way of life, and so you will have bedding and a mosquito net, with access to electricity in the common area of the farm.
  
  During your free time, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds our farm, which is on the edge of large mountains and valleys. We will also provide activities and adventures to local caves and waterfalls, as well as mountain trekking. If you would like, you can also learn cultural handcrafts such as weaving and natural cotton, as well as natural tie dying.
  
  I wish to create a relaxing place that allows people from all over the world to take their time to experience life in harmony with nature.

  In Pua, we are full of nature and local knowledges such as herbs, trekking skills, local food knowledge, local plants, handicrafts like weaving and natural dying cotton. Moreover there are some unique cultures from a hill-tribe nearby.

  No specific skills needed, just-
  - Help we get the land ready for organic farming then grow vegetables and some fruits together
  - Love the earth as much as we do
  - Help with tasks needing attention at the time you visit
  - You will have choices depending on your interests and skills
  - Gardening, cooking, cleaning up, website improvements, etc
  - Stay for a minimum of 7 day

  You can enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of nature all around this rural farm on the edge of mountains and valleys that give you special sunrises and sunsets. You will partake in hiking, trekking, cave exploration, swimming next to a stream/waterfall, other local attractions and many places to learn about the local culture and history. There are also cultural handicrafts like weaving and natural cotton dying. We have an extra motorcycle and bicycle if you want to borrow them for local transportation. There is also local mini-buses to other areas and to Nan City Center not far from our farm.
