  Description

  I am a Shamanic Practitioner/Therapist and firewalking instructor, I live in a valley beneath Loughcrew one of the most important neolithic sites in Europe in the heart of the ancient Boyne Valley region. I am surrounded by ancient magical fairy forts, holy wells and megalithic stone monuments.
  I am very skilled, practical and creative also working as decor lighting tech at music festivals. Due to a back injury I am somewhat limited as to the amount of physical work I can do in the garden and this is the primary reason for inviting a workaway exchange.
  I have 2 indoor cats who are super friendly and cute also 5 beehives.
  
  Plant based household, so Vegetarian or Vegan preferred.

  I am very practical and projects for 2024 include building a micro hydro system, hopefully a sauna later in the year, establishing more organic vegetable beds, biochar production to enhance soil nutrients and sequester carbon.
  I am a hobby herbalist and forager so always willing to pass on what knowledge I have about wild plants. I also keep native Irish Black bees and so weather permitting there may be opportunity to work with the bees.
  I am located in the ancient Boyne Valley region so lots of interesting sacred sites to visit in the immediate area.

  I live in a 190 year old historic cottage with a 2/3 acre organic/nature garden. I am looking for help around the garden, building vegetable beds and assistance with general maintenance.

  Closest towns are Kells and Oldcastle both nice towns with all amenities. It is an ideal base to explore the Boyne Valley region. There is no public transport where i live so ideally you will have your own transport or I can collect from Kells.

  There is a desk in the guest room. WiFi will be starlink fast internet by end of may 2024, currently broadband over telephone line. Reasonably good cellphone coverage but stone walls in cottage can cause deadspots.
