  Description

  We run a shelter for street animals of Phnom Penh, primarily cats and some dogs, especially those that are injured, or recovering. We actively participate in TNR (trap - neuter - release) in collaboration with veterinary clinics and other non-profits. We have 1 or 2 paid staff at all time.

  You can contribute to the quality of life of animals in the city. The location is a residential area in the south of Phnom Penh, a short distance away from Russian Market, which is a lively area for socializing. You will also be working alongside shelter staff, so you can definitely learn some basic (or even advanced!) Khmer from them.

  Aide

  A variety of skills is needed : cleaning, fixing, basic care of sick animals, social media and promotion, assistance with coordinating fostering and adoptions.

  You will have a room at the shelter location. For food: basic staples (rice) and spices for cooking; fruits from the garden (mango, banana). Weekly veggie delivery from the market possible
