  Living in the jungle, its impossible not to learn. Adding in all the challenges of horse care, balanced with a raw beauty and freedom of riding on the beach provides such an incredible healthy lifestyle. Waking up early and being outdoors playing with these beautiful creators is one of the most unique ways to pass time.

  Aide

  I am looking for a volunteer/volunteers to help care for and prepare horses for tours during the day. Experience is needed. The land where they sleep is about a 10 minute walk to the stables and the horses need to be brought to the stables daily for feeding/ care and tours.
  
  I have new horses who need to be ridden for training and can also follow tours to get more comfortable. I have many other tours which need a volunteer to walk next to the client (maybe with a kid on the horse for example).
  
  Some days the volunteer will be asked to baithe a horse or brush them to prepare for a tour, or cleaning stalls.
  
  This is a working business with tour guides, but volunteers will be doing some of the extra feedings and some upkeep of the stables and horses. We have 6-7 working horses which come to the stables everyday for feedings and to be looked after even if there are no tours.
  
  You have alot of freedom with this position. You can join tours if possible and on free time do short rides. The beach is about 300m from the stables.
  
  We are located in the town of playa chiquita / cocles, but Puerto Viejo (a bigger town) is just 5 km away.
  
  I need someone who can be flexible with the few hours each day and also who isnt affraid of a little rain. Sometimes we still have to work in the rain! For example The voluntter could go at 6am to take horses out of the field and feed them breakfast and then be done for the day by 8am. Then perhaps coming back to help ride/train a horse in the afternoon.

  Hébergement

  I can provide a room with multiple beds (if more than one person) in Punta Uva. The bathroom and kitchen is shared with a family and I also live on the property. I can provide a bicycle to ride to the stables or help transportation with my scooter/ and other people driving in that direction. The distance from the house to the stables is 2.5 km on a completly flat road, so biking only takes 20 min.

  Our feeding schedule allows practically the entire day free. The beach is directly across the street down a little path and one of the best beaches on the whole coast. The more popular surfing beach is about 3km away. Some bars and restaurants in Playa Chiquita, but more in Puerto Viejo. Bikes are included!
