  We live in a peaceful coastal area in North Wales, surrounded by forest walks, open hills, and the sea. From our home, you can enjoy distant views of the Snowdonia mountains, and the beach is about a 30–35 minute walk away. It’s a calm and quiet place, perfect for slowing down, spending time in nature, and enjoying scenic walks.
  
  Our home is comfortable and spacious, with a private guest bedroom, a large living/dining area, and a small garden. We’re located very close to walking trails that connect directly to the countryside and nearby woodland paths.
  
  This is a lovely base for anyone who enjoys nature, quiet mornings, and hiking routes like Offa’s Dyke and the Wales Coast Path. It’s ideal for someone looking for a low-key place to stay while enjoying local scenery and a slower rhythm.
  
  You’d also be sharing the space with our cat, Albi. He’s very independent but affectionate in his own way — mostly outdoors during the day, and happy to relax around people in the evening. If you enjoy quiet animal company, he’ll be a perfect match.

  You’ll be staying in a coastal town in North Wales, close to a forest and surrounded by walking paths, nature, and bits of local history. Our street leads straight into Bishop’s Wood, a peaceful woodland that connects to scenic trails used by walkers year-round.
  
  If you enjoy getting outdoors, you’ll have easy access to well-known walking routes like Offa’s Dyke Path, the Clwydian Range, and the Prestatyn-Dyserth Way, which passes old railway lines, stone bridges, and quiet countryside.
  
  There’s a small town centre nearby with local cafés, independent shops, and cosy pubs — places where people still say hello to each other. You can also take short day trips to historic towns like Ruthin or Conwy, visit castles, or explore villages that still carry traces of medieval life.

  Aide

  We’re looking for someone to care for our cat, Albi, while we’re away. He’s very low-maintenance and enjoys a relaxed routine with a bit of company.
  
  Here’s what we’d ask you to help with:
  Feed Albi twice a day
  Brush him occasionally (he really enjoys it)
  Give him some playtime or cuddles if he’s in the mood
  If he comes in from the rain, he’ll usually let you know — just give him a quick towel dry before he gets too cosy
  
  Apart from that, just general tidiness around the house and wiping the hallway or entrance if it gets muddy. Nothing heavy — just basic care and kindness.

  Guests will have access to the entire lower floor of our home, which includes a spacious living room, dining area, kitchen, guest bathroom, and a private guest bedroom with a double bed, reading lamp, and wardrobe space.
  
  There’s a small private garden with a deck area, and the living room has a large sofa and TV with access to Netflix. You’ll also be welcome to use the kitchen and our utility space, which includes a washing machine and fridge/freezer.

  We’re about a 15–20 minute walk from the local train station, which has regular connections to nearby towns and the North Wales coast. If you don’t drive, it’s still easy to get around by train or on foot.
  
  We also have two adult bicycles you’re welcome to borrow during your stay — perfect for exploring local trails or getting into town a bit quicker.

  Wi-Fi in the house is stable and reliable for remote work, including video calls, messaging, and light streaming. We've had guests use it for both work and personal use without issues. There’s a comfortable workspace available in the guest area, and if you'd like a change of scenery, the local high street has cafés where you can work or relax with your laptop.
