Description
We live in San Sebastián Río Hondo with two dogs and five goats!
We have a ranch 20 minutes into the forest where we take the goats to pasture.
Once a month we organise an artesanal market in the centre of town and once a week a small farmers market.
Me and Isa (3yr old) have been living in San Sebastián for some years now creating protects and settling ourselves in this very calm village.

You will get to know the local culture of slow and grounded living, Learn how to be surrounded by animals all the time! and how to care for them… specifically goats, how to milk and how to care for the milk, fermentation methods all surrounding milk! And of course if you’re interested you can learn to make goats cheese
You will also be able to connect with travelers and locals that come and participate in the weekly farmers market and monthly Artesanal Market

Aide
We need help right now with taking care of the goats, and because the nature of the activities right now we are only accepting groups of two or three. Not individual people
We have five goats and make cheese and cajeta! So there’s lots of time spent taking the goats to pasture, cleaning their home, milking the goats…

Hébergement
We have an independent room at our house with a double bed and fireplace. There’s everything needed for sleeping in these cold nights!
The kitchen is shared with me, the host, and Isa (3yr old) as well as a compost toilet and shower.

San Sebastián is a very quiet town, the forest is the main attraction here. There’s San José which is the closest town where there’s a bit more happening, restaurants, bars, hotels. There’s cascades near by, the coast is 4 hours away, Oaxaca city is 3 hours away.
