Unforgettable and formative experience. We stayed here 4 weeks, the most beautiful for us. This family is really loving and welcoming. … read more particular Joost was always present for us, we played freesbe, explored a little the surroundings, listened to beautiful music. See her a very sweet girl and always full of energy. In our stay we removed a fence, painted a room, some gardening, nothing difficult and tiring. Every evening, after dinner, we played with my beloved "worm". We shared meals, games, culture, language, knowledge. We will be forever grateful.
I spent two wonderful weeks with Machtheld and her family. As it was my first experience with Workaway, I was quite nervous in the beginning but as soon as I arrived I felt very welcomed and home. My favorite part of the day always was dinner time because all gathered, had very good conversations and of course devoured delicious meals .

Staying with Machteld and her family was a fantastic experience. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed like part of the family in a warm and friendly environment. We really enjoyed our conversations, playing board games, spending time with the cats, and exploring the beautiful surroundings on walks. It was a pleasure to help with your projects

Frederica and Luca stayed with us for two weeks and we really didn't want them to go. We had such a lovely time together. They shared there stories, cooked delicious meals en helped us in the garden and around the house. It felt immediately so natural for all of us to have Luca and Frederica in the house. We really hope that our paths will cross

Veronique stayed with us in the spring/summer of 2024. She was our first guest and we learned so much of her. She told us about the culture of her homeland and we had serious conversation and also a lot of fun. Veronique is really open to try things and (except from spiders in a power position ;) ) not afraid. We had a great time!

I stayed with Machteld and her family for just over a month this summer and right from the beginning I felt very welcomed.
Machteld was always very flexible in the working hours. We sometimes worked together and sometimes I worked by myself. I had the freedom of choosing what I prefered doing on a certain day.

… read more very cool to be around. They have good taste in music and a good sense of humor, which I loved. We ate dinner together every night, and sometimes played some games.
Much more could be said about my stay, all of it very positive. I would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a nice cultural exchange and some work in the garden.
Thank you for your authenticity, open-mindedness and open-heartedness! I will not forget to send you some of the best maple syrup from Canada when I can do so.
