  Description

  We live in the countryside outside the city of Trollhättan in Sweden. We have a dog, ponies and icelandichorses and a cat. (The dog lives in the house, the cat in the stable.) It is me and my husband who lives here, our children are adults. We have two grandchildren who visit sometimes. We live in an old house.

  They can ask us things about Sweden and our farm and meet our friends. And visit our church if they want to. I can teach them some Swedish if they want. If you wish you can go horsebackriding or ride a horse and carriage. We can show you nice things in the surroundings.

  Aide

  We need help with a lot of things, outdoors and indoors. Sometimes it´s booring and dirty and heavy, sometimes it´s more fun.
  We hope you are used to the animals. Of course you can not be allergic.
  We will not accept any use of alcohol or other drugs. We prefere non-smokers. If you are a smoker, you cannot smoke indoors and you have to pick up the cigarette butt from the ground.
  
  The work varies depending on the season and your skills. Here I will mention some things. (Of course everybody can't do everything on the list.)
  
  In the winter there is a lot of poop pick = take away horse-poo from the paddock.
  
  Example of things to do:
  
  Pic up horse poop
  remove vegetation with secateurs and sometimes saw
  cut grass
  clean inside and tidy up outdoors
  carpentry
  build and repair fences
  cook food
  paint
  repair bicycles and other vehicles
  drive a tractor
  animal care
  train horses and dogs
  house and pet sitting sometimes

  I speak Swedish and English. I understand a little German and can say some words too. I also know a few words in Italian, It would be nice to learn more!

  Hébergement

  You will live in our old house, in your own room. Or in a caravan if you prefer.
  The house is old and messy, but there is toilet and shower and washingmachine and owen and micro and all that stuff.
  You get food here, but if you need to buy any special food, you have to pay for it yourself. The same goes for candy.

  Autres infos...

  We have Internet and television, you can go horsebackriding (if you know how to ride) or walk or go down to the river. There is 5 km to the store and pizzeria in Sjuntorp and 7 km to the other village. It is 20 km to the city of Trollhättan, there you can see a lot of tourist-things. We have "Fallens dagar" sometimes, it is a big waterfall and a lot of other things. I can tell you more if you ask.
