  Description

  We are a couple in our mid to late 50's who have a lovely old 1870's school house in a very historic part of New Zealand. We want to make sure that this lovely old building is carefully cared for and are looking for assistance to do this.

  You get to live in a small, rural sheep and forestry community in West Otago.

  Aide

  We have a large, historic, holiday home (a old school house) and are looking for help with general maintenance of the old building and grounds (washing windows, sanding, painting, gardening).

  Own bedroom in small sleep out or inside the main building. Full facilities available. Shared dining with hosts, if they are in residence, or cook yourself. Vegetarians can be provided for, but we cannot offer vegan food.

  The Clutha Gold Cycle Trail runs past the door. It is 60 to 120 minutes away from the eco-wonderland of the Caitlins and Stewart Island. Plus the same distance to Queenstown, Wanaka and Dunedin.
  You will need to have your own vehicle to take advantage of most of the activities nearby. The nearest shops are 20km away, however there is a community tavern.
  There is lovely, river swimming, nearby and a community tennis court.
