    Description

My name is Charlotte. I’m French/Turkish and grew up in France. After years of living in Aotearoa (New Zealand), Australia, and Türkiye, I’ve returned to the French mountains to reconnect with the land and the rhythm of nature. I’ve done lots of WWOOFing around the world, traveled by bike and even by horse, and I have a deep love for adventure, simplicity, and meaningful connections.

I recently bought a beautiful 2-hectare property with breathtaking views of the mountains. The land has been lovingly maintained and offers a warm, comfortable space to relax, create, and connect.

I share this little paradise with my four big dogs, all rescued from the streets of Türkiye. They’re full of love and character: strong, independent, and sometimes a little stubborn! They need someone who knows how to be gentle but firm, what we call “une main de fer dans un gant de velours” (an iron hand in a velvet glove). If you have experience with dogs or feel confident setting clear, kind boundaries, you'll get along really well with them.

I welcome you into my home and it's with pleasure that I share with my hosts my turkish and french roots . Sharing is caring. And sharing is a strong part of the turkish culture. By entering into my home, you will also get a good insight of french culture with typical french meals. I also like to invite if voluteers are interested to some of my local cultural activities like movies screenings or circle songs (singing). I also like to do yoga on a weekly basis and offer the opportunity to volunteers to join me in my.

  • Aide

    Aide

The help I need includes feeding my dogs morning (8.30am) and evening (6pm), walking them about an hour a day, and ideally offering some basic training and structure.

Aside from dog duties, whatever time is left is to help with garden maintenance and house cleaning. I’d also love a hand with some light DIY projects around the house, things like building shelves or cupboards, putting up fencing, or general maintenance. Nothing too intense, just a can-do attitude and a willingness to get involved.

If you’re a creative soul, you’ll feel right at home here. You’re more than welcome to express yourself and bring your own ideas into the space. I believe in collaboration, inspiration, and community.

    Bondjouk

    Bondjouk and Karma
Brother and sister who will be around 2 years in July. While i was preparing the papers for Yaz i was feeding them in front of a supermarket in Turkey. Bondjouk got really sick with parvo virus when he was around 3 months. I decided to try and save him and that was the start of the adventure of adopting them two.

    Profile photo of Yaz

    Yaz (1 an)

The smallest but still the chief officer of the tribe! A tad too controlling sometimes but still a loveable pup! She is the catalyser of my new life here in the Pyrenees as she arrived from nowhere in the middle of my deceased father's garden in Turkey and I decided to adopt her, and do all the papers to bring her back to France (a 4 months procedure).
