Description
I live in Nelson BC, a 20 minute walk from from the beautiful creative downtown. My yard is large, quiet, and private with lots of trees, flowers and vegetable gardens.

I have an ecological and bio-regional background and would be very interested in sharing what I know that is happening globally as well as in this community and also learning about regenerative projects happening in their part of the world.

I am needing to improve my raised beds, add in some better water catchment areas, and build up some steps in the garden. There is always weeding, watering, and pruning to do. Helping with sorting and moving things in the storage areas would also be great.

There is a sweet strawbale guest house across the yard that I built. It has 3 rooms- a small kitchen, bathroom and living room/bedroom. It is simple but comfortable-, fully equipped with dishes, toaster oven, fridge, hot plate, table and chairs, and queen sized futon. It has wifi.

Just a few blocks from my door you can walk to one of the popular hiking trails that will take you for miles through the mountainsides or to private beaches on the lake. The bus to downtown is just 3 blocks away. Nelson has many musicians, artists, foodies, eco projects, holistic health professionals, tennis, gardens, restaurants, and theatre. The lake is great for swimming and kayaking.
