Description
I am Martin and the owner of a little farm in the mountains of the alps and I am living with my wife Monika. We have here a beautiful place for our sheeps, the hens, two horses, a dog and cats inmidst a wonderful nature. Because of the steepness of the meadows we have to do nearly all the work handcrafted and helping hands are welcome especially for collecting hay. We don´t have a special target like to save something or somebody, but we love to live with nature and have fun with it. Sometimes it´s also challenging but never boring. When there´s no hay, we are working in the meadows or preparing firewood.

You have the chance to learn about the origins of our food, stay in contact with nature and animals and enjoy the beautiful landscape of the mountains. We are also helping each other in the neighbourhood, therefore you have the chance to see more than only our farm and get in contact with more people. Always in our company, because most of them don´t speak english;)
Aide
We have here a little farm in midst of the alps. In summertime we need some helpers for making and collecting hay from our meadows. You should bring a certain fitness with you because the meadows are steep and you should have a good head for heights. Ideally you are able to handle a hand reaper or even the reaper. Other chores always to be done are helping to make firewood and moving the electric fences for the sheeps. If you have riding experience, you are very welcome to help out with the horses.

Hébergement
We have a free room with a nice bed and about 15 qm space. You use bathroom and kitchen togehther with us, a 50 and 60 year old couple. You can share all meals with us or cook by yourself, if you want

Our farm is situated near a little village with typical cafes restaurants and shops. There is a really good connection to Bozen, the capital of south tyrol where you can enjoy also a rich cultural experience. The most beautiful experience is the nature here: if you want to explore the world nature heritage of the Dolomites you are exactly in the right place.

It was our first experience and it was great.
During the whole stay Monika and Martin were very helpful and kind to us and we felt very good there almost like at home.
Our work was not hard, but sometimes physical strength was needed. We had plenty of time for ourselves and for our trips.
