  Description

  Hi, my name is Sabrina! I was born and raised in Italy, where I live in Veneto with my husband, in the Belluno Dolomites! I have three grown-up daughters who have left home, and one of them gave me a granddaughter a few years ago! I signed up to Workaway to find a girl who would be interested in playing with her and speaking English! My granddaughter's name is Emma, she is 3 years old and is a cheerful, very lively little girl!
  For sports and nature lovers, I live in paradise, there is so much to do for everyone!
  I speak very little English but I am very outgoing, perfect for those who want to learn Italian: you would speak with my husband and me in Italian and with the little girl in English! It would be a few hours a day, the rest of the time you are free! We are a bit isolated in terms of housing, a 4km walk to the nearest bus stop, but my husband and I are available to drive you and help you visit our area!

  In our house, we usually eat together. If you want to cook, whenever you want, it's possible, and we can have a cultural exchange, and I can teach you something about Italian cuisine if you're interested! One of my daughters is also a cook!
  We love walking, and there's something for everyone here! In addition to mountains and streams, there are also beautiful lakes where you can swim! We also have a dog, who is very good and a little silly, but used to being around people!

  We speak Italian and we are happy to teach it to someone. In exchange, we would like our granddaughter to speak English with you!

  Hébergement

  You will have your own bright room with a wardrobe! You will also have your own bathroom! We provide sheets and towels, and if you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask! Our house is large and there are plenty of spaces where you can study or work in peace! We have a large garden and even a swimming pool that you can use at your leisure! If you wish, you will be treated as part of the family!
  
  I cook meals twice a day, lunch and dinner (as well as breakfast, for which I’ll make sure we have your favourite ingredients in the house), and we usually all eat together at the same table. The meals follow the Mediterranean diet: pasta for lunch, and dinner consisting of meat or fish, vegetables and bread. If you’d like, you’re welcome to cook for everyone or help me with it!!!

  The nearest bus stop is 4 km uphill/downhill, but we are happy to help you visit, if we can organize it! We will gladly accompany you to the bus stop and give you information about bus tickets and interesting activities in the area: evenings, events, organized walks, excursions/hikes that we know about, mountain refuges, the most beautiful nearby towns, and how to reach them if you want to take a trip out of town or a weekend away!

  We have a large private house with a big garden and lots of lawn around it. There is plenty of parking space! We have a water hose and outdoor electricity with extension cords... I'm not sure what a workawayer arriving in a camper van might need, but we are happy to help!

  Archie (6 ans)

  He's a black dog, the one on the right in the photo! He's very good, almost dumb because he's so good! He's used to being with children and even cats, and he's super affectionate!
