Description
We are a family of 5 who live on a 11 acre farm in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, 25 mins from Mount Maunganui surf beach. We need help just in the garden and a few jobs around the farm.
The work involved is all outside, we have farm animals so help with sorting them would he helpful also. The farm is surrounded by trees and has lots of birds and very peaceful. Lots of walks/hikes around and Tauranga township only 20 mins away.
We have travelled a lot and have been Workawayers ourselves so we know what it’s like to work in different places and meet people from different cultures.

As we have been Workawayers before we know how it feels to benefit from a Workaway. We have 3 kids who loved working on farms overseas and love to meet new people from around the world. We all met amazing people from different cultures and learnt a lot from others.
We live in a beautiful area where a lot of travellers from all over the world come. Amazing beaches are only 25 mins away, beautiful walks and rivers nearby. We also only 35 mins from Rotorua which is a highly popular place for tourists to do a huge range of activities. We have done them all so can offer help and advise in the local area. We have recently moved into the country so would love to share amazing green space and a peaceful environment.

Aide
Removal of plants, lots of gardening including vege gardens and replanting both the vege garden and landscaping. Helping with any animals on the farm.

Hébergement
Options for double and single beds inside the house with own lounge area and heating, very cosy. Has a huge space seperate from family. Breakfast and dinner would be provided and most probably cooked for you! As we have 3 kids we are already cooking and you would just join in if you want that. Lunch can be a self service type when you need it.

The Bag of Plenty is one of the most popular areas for tourist to visit NZ. Lovely surf beaches, hikes, waterfalls and rivers. Mount Maunganui is 24 mins away and lots of cafes/restaurants and the Mount itself, climbing to the top and around. Papamoa also same distance offering beautiful surf beach.
Rotorua is only 35 mins away offering a huge amount of fun activities from Adrenalin outdoor adventures to cultural NZ shows. Mud pools, geysers, cafes and world class mountain biking and hiking, river rafting... the list goes on! Lots of gorgeous lakes surround Rotorua.
We are also close the TECT park which offers tree tops adventures, hiking and biking.

They have amazing kids, which one has their "special" skils. Jesse is incredible with birds, he knows everything about them and built a palace for them live. Will is so kind, like different types of games, we could watch one of his soccer… read more
