Description
We are Mirriam and Gerard, and we live in the small village of Ellertshaar in the north of the Netherlands.
Together we run several group accommodations for groups ranging from 10 to 300 guests. Most of our visitors are primary schools, sports clubs and church groups. They usually stay for two nights, so we welcome new groups several times a week.
No two days are the same! We clean the accommodations, prepare meals, organize activities and take care of all kinds of practical jobs around the property. That's why we're looking for one enthusiastic all-round helper who enjoys variety and is happy to lend a hand wherever needed.
During your stay, you'll live here with us on the property. We agree on the hourly wage together, depending on your age, experience and the number of hours you work. We always discuss this in advance and make sure we find an arrangement that works well for both sides.
If you'd like to become part of our family business for a while, enjoy working with people and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'd love to hear from you!

Wij zijn Mirriam en Gerard en wonen in het kleine dorpje Ellertshaar, in het noorden van Nederland.
Samen runnen we meerdere groepsaccommodaties waar groepen van 10 tot wel 300 personen verblijven. Onze gasten zijn vooral basisscholen, sportverenigingen en kerkelijke groepen. De meeste groepen blijven twee nachten, waardoor er meerdere keren per week een nieuwe groep aankomt.
Geen dag is bij ons hetzelfde. We maken accommodaties schoon, bereiden maaltijden voor, begeleiden activiteiten en pakken allerlei praktische klussen op rondom het terrein. Daarom zijn we op zoek naar één enthousiaste allrounder die het leuk vindt om van alles aan te pakken en afwisseling in het werk juist fijn vindt.
Je woont tijdens je verblijf bij ons op het terrein. Samen maken we afspraken over het uurloon, afhankelijk van je leeftijd, ervaring en het aantal uren dat je werkt. Daar komen we in goed overleg altijd samen uit.

The area is beautiful and we offer you every opportunity to discover the area. We are happy to take you to nice places in the area.
As a familiy we would be interested in your culture and hoping you will learn from ours.
We like it when you show initiative, and are happy to help you where necessary. You will learn to be a real hostess beacause you have a lot of contact with our groups staying with us. -

The work will consist of cleaning, preparing meals, guiding activities and much more.
We have 2 children, a 10 year old boy and a 9 year old girl. You may occasionally babysit them or do fun things with them. -

We have a house on our property were you can stay. The house has all of the facilities you need. There are 2 bedrooms and there is a large garden.
