WE ARE BACK!!! As the pandemic now turns to an endemic, lets meet our fellow freedom fighters out of Covid Prison!
Hi,
I am Jaime the owner of the Hostel located in Coron Palawan Philippines, I am in need of fun, energetic, hardworking and honest volunteers.
Hostel culture is different. It is a place where travellers want to make friends. We need Volunteers who can welcome guests as soon as they come in to the hostel. We want people who are outgoing and with great energy.
Its an excellent workaway to meet new people while seeing many beautiful and different places.

The philippines is famous for its beaches, waters and islands. To explore and see it would be a wonderful moment in your life.
The end goal is simple, good vibes, drinks, useful advice so everyone can have the best chances of having a great memorable time.
Aide
Positive energy, patience with demanding guests, an adventurous attitude.
Integrity, Kind and please dont be sleazy and try to hookup with different guests.
I would just love an english speaker who can converse and connect with the guests. It is all about making guests feel welcomed. Being an instant friend to guests and solo travellers.
Work time will be 4 hours a day, 5 times a week. You will work behind and with reception to interact with guests. If you are applying as a couple, please know that you will be working separately for the reception work and it will be 4 hours each.

A bunk bed in the Hostel itself.
Free 2 meals per work day, breakfast OR lunch (just one, you pick) at the restaurant and dinner served with the guests.

You can go on your own adventures solo, join outside tours or you can just sit back and enjoy the view from the hostel.
I would encourage the volunteer to speak his/her mind, be opinionated, but most of all helpful overall to the guests. The end goal is simple, good vibes, useful advice so everyone can have the best chances of having a great memorable time.

Libby is wonderful. She is truly a special volunteer. She is independent, smart, resourceful, organised and has a can do attitude. Celine and Paul are amazing volunteers. They were no fuss, easy, organised, and most of VERY HELPFUL. They were able to do some very difficult isolated BEACH ISLAND tours, that not all volunteers are able to execute. So that just shows how resourceful and hardworking they are! Everything about hostel is AMAZING! You get boat trips to random beaches. Trivia night is super fun. Sometimes, you just hit a grand slam with this platform and we enjoyed every minute of hosting Tory and Tom. They were hard workers. More than that, they brought the best attitude to guests, staff and the work. MC, just like her profession in her home, comes to our place and brings color, beauty and energy into it like the flowers she so often works with in Canada.

This was an amazing experience. Gino and Paola are kind people who are building a community in Coron Island. Their hostel is a place in which travelers can feel at home and we are very glad to have contributed to it.
