  Description

  We’re a friendly family of five — Mum, Dad, and our three kids ages 2, 5 and 7 — living in our home in Frankton, Queenstown.
  Our home is a short walk to the local supermarket, bus stop and you can even walk to the airport.
  If you are into hiking, biking, skiing then this is the place for you.
  
  We’ve hosted international students in the past and really enjoy welcoming people from different countries and backgrounds into our home. We’re always keen to help visitors make the most of their time in Queenstown.
  
  We’re looking for a Workawayer to join our family and lend a hand with some of the tasks around the house and garden that we’ve fallen behind on. There’s a mix of outdoor and indoor tasks, including weeding, mowing lawns, general gardening, cleaning, tidying, and some help with meal preparation.
  
  We’re a busy family, so having an extra pair of hands would make a huge difference and help us get on top of the things that have been piling up!
  
  In return, we hope to offer you a warm, family environment and the chance to experience everyday life in beautiful Queenstown. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, practical, self-motivated and ideally a morning person, as our household tends to be up and about early! With three kids, mornings can be lively, so we’d hate to disturb someone who enjoys a sleep-in.
  
  For us, it is very important that our Workaway guest genuinely enjoys spending time with small children and feels comfortable around them.
  
  We’re looking forward to welcoming someone new into our home, sharing our little corner of Queenstown with you, and helping you have a memorable stay.

  We would love to share our family life and New Zealand culture with our Workaway guest. We are into skiing and ski most weekends, you are welcome to join if you like skiing. Otherwise in summer we tske the kids to the lake or biking and they recently got kayaks.
  We are very interested in learning about our guest’s culture, country, language, food, and traditions. Mum is originally from Germany and we are planning a family holiday to Europe next year. The kids would be interested in learning more about other countries.

  Aide

  We’re looking for a Workawayer to join our family and lend a hand with some of the tasks around the house and garden that we’ve fallen behind on. There’s a mix of outdoor and indoor tasks, including weeding, mowing lawns, cleaning, tidying, and some help with meal preparation.
  
  If you know anything about veggie gardens, we would love to start one this spring, but if not we can all learn together.
  
  We’re a busy family, so having an extra pair of hands would make a huge difference and help us get on top of the things that have been piling up!
  
  We are hoping for around 20 hours of help per week.

  We have a spare bedroom with a Queen bed that you will be staying in. The bathroom is shared.
  We usually have dinner together early as a family between 5-6pm each day.
