  Description

  We are a British family of four (mum, dad and two sporty teenagers) living a busy life in the heart of the Chamonix valley. We are very time poor, so often jobs relating to home maintenance and gardening get left on the bottom of the pile. We'd welcome help to get some of these tasks done, whilst offering a chance to stay in one of the most mountain destinations on earth. It's a great opportunity for someone wanting to improve their english language skills, experience the mountains for the first time or someone who simply wants to spend time in a special place. We offer a totally independent two bedroom chalet as accommodation and all meals (eaten sometimes with us and sometimes pre-prepared and alone).

  We are an English family who live in the heart of the mountain community in the Chamonix Valley. We speak english at home and french with neighbours and friends. We are happy to work with anyone wishing to improve their English. We are well integrated into our local community, which is a wonderful mix of french and international residents who have settled here to enjoy everything mountain life offers.

  Aide

  We need help with simple gardening tasks, painting and decorating and other small DIY tasks. Also occasional dog-sitting for our brilliant border collie.

  Hébergement

  We offer a luxury new build independent chalet. It has two bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and living area with its own terrace. We follow a sensible healthy and balanced diet and cook international dishes from scratch most days when at home.
  
  We enjoy a healthy and balanced diet, mostly cooked from scratch. We often batch cook at the weekends, as weekdays and evenings can be busy with work and sports practices etc. Our guests can either join us for meals or prepare their own food and eat in their independent accommodation. We will provide either pre-prepared meals or ingredients and supplies to cook with.

  We are looking for people who are happy to help us with DIY and gardening and who wish to improve their language skills and experience some mountain adventures. We may be able to provide access to a car (subject to an age minimum and holding a valid international driving licence).
