  Do you want 3 days a week to explore the local area?

  No couples, Solo travelers only please.
  
  I mostly live here on my own but also have staff come and go. We also have a pet home on the property so if you feel like animal cuddles there is always plenty to go around. This is not a paid job in the Pet home, this is about helping me out around the home and gardens, and you can come out to the pet home if that is what you would enjoy.
  
  Things we need help with are; gardening, housework, cleaning, cooking and general maintenance - whatever your skill set is really. It is a large 4 bedroom house so room to move.
  
  The hours are flexible, 4 days on and 3 days off per week including food, take the rest of the week to explore and use this place as a base. The Bay of Plenty has so much to offer from the beaches to the stunning walks and so much more.
  Please be fluent in English.
  
  Position Details:
  This is a live-in position in a large 4-bedroom home, with 2 volunteer bedrooms available, they share their bathroom. There is normally only one Woofer at a time.
  Work covers accommodation and meals for 4 days work per week and 3 days off, per person. Normally between 8am to 5.30pm with 2 to 4 hours break in the middle so only about 5 to 6 hours a day, these are flexible.
  
  Meals, you help yourself to anything in the kitchen for breakfast and lunch, if you are here for dinner, you cook the evening meal. If it is your day off and you are not here for the meal there is no need for you to cook it. Please do not come home late and do a cook up.
  
  Depending on what is happening there might not be extra hours. No extra paid hours when the Lodge is not busy.
  Work tasks vary, and extra work availability is not guaranteed, however can sometimes be available
  
  Work Areas:
  1. Lodge: Hours typically 8am-10am & 3:30pm-5:30pm, 7 days a week. You work only 4 days and have 3 days off.
  2. Housework: Kitchen cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, occasional larger tasks like oven cleaning. Normal Cleaning as you go is not added hours.
  3. Gardens: Ongoing and flexible hours.
  4. Maintenance and Cleaning: the lodge and grounds maintenance, ongoing and flexible hours.
  
  We are a meat eating home. No smoking, Vaping, drinking, or drugs on the property at all please.

  You will learn a lot about natural animal care. I am born kiwi girl and have traveled my own country extensively.

  You must love dogs and cats. I need help with general gardening, cleaning and whatever your skills lead to. There is always a lot of dogs and cats onsite. The Pet home is separate and not part of the homestay.

  There are 1 bedroom available in a large home close to the city of Tauranga. I am very flexible on the jobs to be done around the place.
  
  The ideal would be I purchase the food, and you cook it. We do eat meat in this home so it is best if you do also.
