Description
Hi there!
We are a family who run a little farm in South Tyrol.
The farm is located in Pfalzen/Falzes, 3.5 km outside the village centre at an altitude of 1.200 m. The senior farmers (Rosa and Hans) live at farm, they take care of 2 cows with their calves and maintain the farm. Also 3 cats and some chicken are part of it.
We, the younger son (Reinhard, 38) and his companion (Christa, 39) live with our two boys (5 and 8 years old) in a row house in the village centre. We are responsible for the raspberry field at the farm, which isn’t big, but needs a lot of care. Especially during the raspberry harvest we need some help. Now we have differnt tasks: to help picking the raspberries or to help a bit in the househould, little thinks which need to be done on a little farm.
Usually workawayers stay in our house in the village center and we drive together up to the farm, when the raspberries need to be picked. The connection in the village center is good. A bus goes every half an hour to Bruneck/Brunico. We also like to explain you what's worth to see around our location and to do the one or other excursion.
Our mother tongue is German, but we are also capable of Italian and English. Hans and Rosa are capable of German and Italian.

Aide
Usually it’s quiet, but when the raspberry harvest starts, also we become busy and are happy about any help. This year we have just in September and October raspberries.
In this period we have different tasks to perform: to pick the raspberries, help a bit in the house or doing little works, which need to be done on a little farm.

We can offer a guest room for one or two people. The bathroom need to be shared.

In spare time there are many activities to do in nature: per example hiking, biking, collecting mushrooms, climbing ... also Bruneck, a nice old town, is close to our house and we are pleased to give you a ride there.
In Pfalzen there is also a bus, which goes half-hourly to Bruneck and there are many possibilites for doing nice excursions.

They are very polite, openminded and flexible. Vittoria and Marco helped us primarily picking the raspberries, but if there was a lack of time they gave us also a helping hand with cooking.
