  Hello Workawayers!
  
  We’re a relaxed and friendly family of four living in the beautiful, green suburb of Diamond Creek, just outside of Melbourne. Our home is surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to enjoy both indoors and out – perfect for anyone looking to experience authentic Australian suburb life while still being within easy reach of the city.
  
  We have two young, fun-loving kids (ages 2 and 4), and we’re looking for a kind, proactive helper to join our household and give us a hand with a variety of tasks including:
  
  Household chores
  
  Gardening and outdoor maintenance
  
  Small tasks or home improvement projects
  
  Childcare (playing, helping with routines, etc.)

  Staying with us is a great way to experience everyday Australian family life in a leafy suburb, while also learning about Jewish culture and traditions. We observe weekly Shabbat dinners and other simple rituals, and you're welcome to join if you’re interested – it’s a warm, relaxed time for connection and good food.
  
  We love sharing stories, meals, and learning about different cultures. You'll enjoy a mix of calm nature, vibrant family life, and easy access to Melbourne city or the Victorian bush.

  Aide

  We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on Workawayer who’s happy to jump in and help with a variety of tasks around our home and garden. Tasks will vary depending on the day, but may include:
  
  🧽 Household help
  
  Cleaning rooms (e.g. windows, cupboards, walls)
  
  Washing dishes, folding laundry, tidying shared spaces
  
  Helping with decluttering and organising
  
  🎨 Home improvement projects
  
  Painting parts of the house (indoor & outdoor)
  
  Ripping up old carpet
  
  Small repair or maintenance tasks (if you’re handy!)
  
  Selling unused items on Facebook Marketplace
  
  🌿 Outdoor tasks
  
  Weeding and general garden maintenance
  
  Tending to our vegetable garden
  
  Mowing the lawn or helping with seasonal clean-ups
  
  👧👦 Childcare & family routines
  
  Reading books, playing games, or imaginative play with our 2- and 4-year-olds
  
  Taking the kids to the local park
  
  Helping with simple routines like snack time or getting ready for outings
  
  We're after someone who enjoys variety, has a good sense of initiative, and is happy being part of family life – while also respecting quiet time and personal space. Whether you're an energetic helper or someone who enjoys a mix of practical and creative tasks, we’d love to have you be part of our home for a little while!

  You’ll have a semi-private living space upstairs, featuring a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed with ensuite bathroom. There’s also room to add an extra mattress if needed.
