  Description

  My name is Arndis and I am a 41 year old single mother from Iceland. I am an Icelandic MP and therefore very busy. I am looking for a young French-speaking au-pair to join our family, take care of my 4-year-old little boy, Ilíes, teach him French (he is bilingual French and Icelandic) and take care of all daily household chores with the help of my eldest, Enya (16 years old) (dishes, laundry, tidying up and cooking). We recently returned to Iceland after three years in Strasbourg, where I was studying full time for my PhD. Ilíes is bilingual Icelandic and French, so I decided to find an au pair who speaks French to help him maintain his French. I speak Icelandic to my children and French to au pairs, but Enya prefers to speak English. I am looking for someone who can stay at least 3 months and preferably longer.
  
  Je m'appelle Arndis et je suis une mère célibataire islandaise de 41 ans. Je suis député islandais et donc très occupée. Je recherche un(e) jeun(e) au-pair francophone pour rejoindre notre famille, s'occuper de mon petit garçon de 4 ans, Ilíes, lui apprendre le français (il est bilingue français et islandais) et s'occuper de toutes les tâches ménagères quotidiennes avec l'aide de mon aîné, Enya (16 ans) (la vaisselle, le linge, de ranger et cuisiner).
  
  Nous sommes récemment retournés en Islande après trois ans à Strasbourg, où j'étudiais à plein temps pour mon doctorat. Ilíes est bilingue islandais et français, j'ai donc décidé de trouver un(e) jeune au pair qui parle français pour l'aider à maintenir son français. Je parle islandais à mes enfants et français aux jeunes au pair, mais Enya préfère parler anglais.
  
  Je recherche quelqu'un qui puisse rester au moins 3 mois et de préférence plus longtemps.

  A small bedroom with a window overlooking the garden with a glimpse-view of the ocean and mountains. Single bed, small desk, bookshelf, chest of drawers and a clothing rack. Electric piano optional. City center a 10 minutes walk away.
