Description
A Reggio Emilia-based progressive preschool. We are located in an up-and-coming beach town on one of the world’s most idyllic beaches. The school itself is located on the fences of a jungle and employs a Discovery-based approach. The kids have their own organic garden, and learn from their surroundings: this includes animals that visit everyday (even monkeys), nature, and the local ranchIng community.

Playa VenAo is a famous surf town, and people have a very spiritual attitude towards life. Nearby Cañas is home to ranchers and farmers who live simply but happily. You will gain tons of introspection and time to heal as well as gain perspective on life goals. Most importantly you will be able to take a time machine back 30 years to the days where you disconnect from devices. You will start to use all your senses, make real-life connections, and LIVE!

Aide
we would love teachers (ideally with Reggio experience, but if not that’s ok too!) or helpers to assist with executing our curriculum and help structure their play-based learning. We’d love someone who can bring their open mind, patience, and love for children — and we’re happy to supply training and an unforgettable experience!

Hébergement
Accommodation will be provided in a hostel with shared kitchen access or a vacant home in Cañas town, subject to availability. Hostel is about 8 mins from the school by car and is located on the beach. Vegetables, fish etc usually come fresh once a week in a truck and are reasonably priced. other things may require a supermarket run to nearby cities
We will be able to provide a stipend for groceries and a ride to the supermarket if needed
