  Description

  Hi, we are a couple with a teenage son, living in a small villiage in the South West region of France. One and a half hours south of Bordeaux and an hour north of San Sebastian. We are a 15-20 minute drive from the world renowned surf beaches of Hossegor and Seignosse, on the door step of the beautiful Basque Country with the Pyrenees just over an hour away.

  Although we are not French we live in a truly French rural villiage.
  The local beaches are some of the best in the world for surfing, thats what most people come here for. If you dont fancy learning to surf then you will enjoy discovering the beautiful and unique countryside and the rolling hills of the Basque Country.... not to mention the gourmet delights of San Sebastian, a must do while you are here.

  Aide

  We are looking for help, with the house, garden, pool and general maintenance, some basic DIY knowledge would be useful. You will principly be maintaining the garden and natural pool and occassionaly cleaning inside the house . The work is fairly autonomous and straight forward. Extra paid work will occasionally be available. We are ideally looking for a couple or a couple of friends, and we would prefer a long term stay (6 months) but shorter or longer periods could also work. If you love the outdoors it is the perfect experience.

  On the property there is a fully furnished cabin, it's about 30 m2 and has its own terrace.
  I don't offer any food or meals, just great accommodation in a beautiful part of France...

  The area that we live in is close to several famous surf beaches, both here in France and in Spain.
  The Pyrenees are just over an hours drive away which is great for skiing in the winter, hiking, kayaking, horse riding, mountain biking, etc the rest of the year.
  San Sebastián is under an hours drive away and has great food and a very lively nightlife.
  I'm looking for a couple, or a couple of friends to WORK 3 hours a day, gardening, cleaning and general maintenance.
