I spent about 3 three weeks with Denise, Daniele and Ethan, and I had a great time! They are very warm and kind people, always open to exchange and have fun together. They took me on a lot of daytrips with them and drove me around in their region to make me discover the beautiful places in the surrounding area.

… read more variety of things to do: gardening, taking care of the animals, milking the goat, painting a room, pruning hazelnut trees etc. This means you get to learn a lot of new skills and you don't get bored because there's something new to do every day!
Also, their profile says their english is not great, but I think it was really good; communication was always clear, easy and fun!

I had such a good time here! Denise and Daiele are kind, wonderful people, who welcomed me wholeheartedly and showed me around Dogliani and the surrounding area. … read more Denise taught me about taking care of the plants and animals, and Daiele’s mom even showed me how to make homage gnocchi. The work was totally manageable and a lot of fun, I especially liked taking the goats on walks. Also, their English is perfect, they’re just being very humble in the host description. Beth was our first workawayer welcome to us! It was nice to have her as a first experience, and she be patience despite we were unprepared and disorganized to have her!She is an intelligent girl, autonomous,friendly and very precise in what she does! But really precise! Weeding: she removed all the the grass until not even the smallest thread

She tidied up a room where total chaos reigned to the point of making Daniele (my partner) remain speechless in silence!
It was enough for her to see things once just to understand and be able to do it independently.
Alone she took care of our animals, especially the dogs, she offered to wash them, which even I personally have never done! Indeed we were afraid of the reaction of our dogs with the arrival of new people, but Beth wiped out our fears!
Ethan(my son) immediately made friends with her, you understand that she knows what it's like to be with children.
SHe also prepared us an english tipical recipe, desserts that were much appreciated and eaten!
I really enjoyed talking to her and she made me laugh a lot! It was interesting to know about her work, it made us reflect and understand how lucky we are!
Thank you and dutiful, we hope to meet you again in the future and who knows in England!

Denise and Daniele were the most wonderful hosts. It was my first workaway and it was their first time hosting also, so was good to learn together! Both are incredibly down to earth, warm and friendly and keen to show you the local area. Denise is an amazing cook and so is Daniele’s mother. … read more was delicious! Ethan is such a cute little boy and easy to entertain (so long as you like cars and trucks!). Work wise, it was mainly gardening and crushing hazelnuts which was a new experience for me but interesting and fun nonetheless. I fell in love with their dogs so loved helping taking care of them as well as their other animals. Their profile says their English isn’t great but I think their English is brilliant- communication was very easy and we shared many stories and lots of laughs.
