  Description

  We’re a friendly family of six looking for a live-in au pair to join us on our beautiful 100-acre property in Yarranbella, approximately one hour south of Coffs Harbour.
  
  We have four girls aged 8, 6, 3 and 1, as well as two friendly dogs and chickens.
  
  We’re looking for someone kind, reliable and confident with children to help for up to 4 hours per day, 5 days per week.
  
  Help would include:
  
  Morning and afternoon school runs
  Playing with and caring for the children
  Cooking some family meals
  Light cleaning and household help
  
  You’ll have your own spacious room, unlimited Wi-Fi, all meals included and access to an automatic car for school runs, personal use and day trips. A valid driver’s licence is essential.
  
  Our peaceful off-grid property has bushland, open paddocks, veggie gardens and a beautiful crystal-clear rock pool for swimming. We’re 15 minutes from Macksville and Bowraville, and around 25 minutes from the beaches, cafés and restaurants of Scotts Head and Nambucca Heads. There may also be opportunities nearby if you’d like to find a second job.
  
  We’re flexible with the start date but would love to find someone as soon as possible.

  Travellers can experience everyday Australian family life while enjoying a peaceful, off-grid lifestyle on our 100-acre rural property. They can learn about sustainable living, gardening, caring for animals and life in regional Australia. They’ll also have the opportunity to practise their English, share meals and traditions with our family, and explore nearby country towns, beaches and national parks.

  Help around the house in exchange for free accommodation.
  
  This includes cooking, cleaning and babysitting our girls for up to four hours a day. We’re very flexible and happy to arrange the hours around your own plans and commitments.

  You’ll have your own spacious, private bedroom in our family home, complete with a TV and beautiful views across the property. You’ll also have access to the shared kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Unlimited Wi-Fi and all meals are included.

  There’s plenty to see and do during your time off. We live in Yarranbella, in the beautiful Nambucca Valley, surrounded by small country towns with a friendly and welcoming community.
  
  Exploring the Nambucca Valley will take you through farmland and rainforest to beautiful beaches, rivers, waterfalls, seaside towns and rural villages.
  
  Around 25 minutes away, you’ll find the coastal towns of Scotts Head, Nambucca Heads and Valla Beach, which are great for swimming, surfing, walking and relaxing by the ocean.
  
  Bellingen is approximately 40 minutes away and is well worth visiting for its cafés, markets, shops, rivers and nearby waterfalls. Coffs Harbour is about one hour north, while Port Macquarie is approximately one hour south.
  
  An automatic car is available for getting around and exploring the area, provided you have a valid driver’s licence.
  
  We are a non-smoking household and would prefer to welcome someone who is also a non-smoker.
