  Description

  Our place is a well known small blueberry farm on the outskirts of Kerikeri. It is open in the summer months selling fresh blueberries, blueberry ice cream and coffees etc.. customers relax in the shaded garden, enjoying the orchard atmosphere.We occasionally have Travellers working with us to help us keep up with the harvest and general maintenance in the summer[ November to March]and the pruning in the winter[June till August]
  We are looking for TWO people to join us for the winter harvest this coming June 2024. You need to be fit and reasonably strong and able to work in the outdoors. You will need your own transport, as there is no public transport in this area.PLEASE ONLY TWO FRIENDS OR A COUPLE, AS WE ONLY HAVE ACCOMMODATION FOR THAT.

  During the summer months our orchard shop /cafe is open and the place is pretty busy with customers locals and tourists. Its a nice time to be here. Over winter the place is more quiet but we have more time to spend with you and will show you around the area or will sometimes, take you sailing in our yacht in the Bay of islands.

  We occasionally need help in the summer months with weeding the blueberry plants and harvesting, with occasional work helping pack the berries for market
  In the winter months[ June till August ]we need al lot of help with pruning , mulching and planting.We need TWO people, for the pruning , you will need to be reasonably fit and strong and able to work in the outdoors.

  We provide a self contained studio that has a queen size bed and would suite A COUPLE OR TWO FRIENDS It has cooking facilities and a shower and toilet, it is right next to our home.We will pay you the minimum wage to work here and provide free accommodation. Please provide your own food.

  We are located just 8 kms from Kerikeri township , a small but cute little town in the beautiful Bay of Islands. The area is great for exploring the beaches north of here and the Bay of islands.

  If you have a campervan and would like to stay in it rather than our studio theres is plenty of space on the orchard to park.
