  Description

  We’re working on renovating the outdoor space of a rural Italian property, we spend lots of time gardening and clearing land to promote new growth and to enable access.
  
  Our house is in a small village in rural Abruzzo.
  
  Quite often we have family and friends come to stay and help us with projects.

  We spend a lot of time in the local village with the local people who are our friends, we socialise with the local expat community which is comprised of a number of different nationalities, we hope to learn more about other cultures and their way of life and customs.
  We are also local authority carers and have a number of qualifications regarding that area of expertise that we can talk with you about.

  Aide

  We would love help with clearing the floor of the woodlands and basic gardening tasks, weeding, pruning trees, picking olives etc. someone who is physically fit and passionate about outdoor work, can work alone or in a team. Knowledge of garden machinery is handy.
  I spend a lot of time propagating cuttings and plants from seed and love to share knowledge of this. We will also be doing various DIY projects, have outbuildings to clear out, maintenance projects to do and you can help with those if you’d like!
  I am a trained chef; but a very rustic cook and will happily hand over my kitchen if you like to cook also.

  Hébergement

  We offer a bedroom, dependant on the circumstances we have different bedrooms to suit, one has a double bed only and the other sleeps 4, there is a shared bathroom with shower and washing machine and well equipped shared kitchen facilities.
  
  We also have parking for campers/motorhomes.
  
  Food will either be provided by ourselves or can be cooked by the workaway-er in our kitchen using the fridge and cupboards.
  Breakfast, lunch and evening meals will be either provided or they will have access to the ingredients to cook for themselves.

  We have cats and dogs, our house is a non smoking indoors house.
  
  The village has small transport links we would be available for small journeys to bus stations/train stations.
