If you're looking for someone who is brave, kind, intelligent, conscientious, friendly, athletic, and exceptional with both people and animals—especially horses—Agathe is the person you need. She works well independently, intuitively sees what needs to be done, and takes initiative. At the same time, she’s a great team player, making her a joy to

Agathe is not only hard-working and capable, but also brings warmth and joy to those around her. She’s a wonderful cook—her chocolate mousse is unforgettable! Her work with the horses was truly impressive. She demonstrated a deep understanding of thresholds, as well as positive and negative reinforcement techniques, and successfully built a trusting relationship with one of our most sensitive horses.
We absolutely LOVE Agathe and hope to have her back again! Around here, we affectionately call her our “French daughter!”

If you are a horse person or if you want to experience the backstage of a wedding this is the place!
I stayed with Connie and Ken for two months, and the only down side was that it was too short…
They are the most gracious hosts, I had an amazing time Thanks to them.
Connie is the kindest and gentlest person, always worring about her horses
… read more well-being, we had so much fun together!
Ken is very handy, takes time to explain things to you and he loves chocolate!
I mainly worked with the horses but i had the chance to do one wedding and it was so much fun!
If you are a skilled horse person, there are plenty horses to work! I spent my days, working on the ground and riding them! Connie and the horses taught me a lot and I am very grateful to have been able to help Connie in return!
Connie and Ken did everything they could so that I would feel at home, and I did! I did not want to leave them!
I will remember us cooking together( Connie is an amazing cook you should ask her for her pineapple chicken and her beef stew *chef kiss*), our breakfast, every moment with the horses, our mexican train nights, the line dance, our movie nights and so on…
This was my first Workaway experience and it truly was the best thanks to these two wonderful persons!
Connie and Ken thanks again for everything, thank you for everything you did with or for me I will never forget it, you were the best, i miss you and the horses( please give them a kiss for me, a little extra for star, Lovebug and honey)
I hope I’ll get the chance to come back,
Your daughter from France, xo
Connie and Ken are the MOST gracious, kind and accommodating host! They have a beautiful farm that functions in so many different ways. The week we were with them they hosted a horse therapy training clinic. We helped with getting the arena and barn area ready for that event. Since we were there in Sept after a VERY hot summer most of the garden

They have a beautiful wedding venue area - both inside and out - that would be awesome to help with upkeep, preparing and cleanup for events. They also have amazing horses - most are rescue - which provides opportunities for animal care and to experience the transformation of these animals in this loving and healthy environment.
Our only regret was that we had limited time here and MOST DEFINITELY want to go back in the future. We 100% recommend this workaway site without question! Thank you Connie and Ken for your hospitality!!

We absolutely LOVED Priska, Lukas, Sein, and Eloy! They are ALL very conscientious and extremely hard workers! They helped with our gardens, yard maintenance, and with the horses. Even though they were only here for a few days, we feel like we got to know then very well. If you have a chance to have them come help you, we would highly recommend

Ken and Connie are very kind and easygoing. I had a great time staying with them and learning the ropes to working a wedding. Connie and Ken graciously welcomed me into their family from day one and I can't wait to visit again.
