  Description

  We are an Italian- Australian family of three (me, my husband and our 15 month old )
  We live in a lovely country town south west of Sydney (the city is about 50 km - 1 hour 10 minutes by train).
  Katoomba is only 1 hour 15 minutes away (by car) and the beautiful beach of Wollongong is an easy 50 minutes drive.
  A 20 minute walk will take you to the heart of the town centre where you will find lots of bars, restaurants and shops.
  Nice walks nearby and less than 15 minutes drive to the beautiful Mount Annan Botanic Gardens.
  If you have a vehicle this will be quicker and easier but if you don't, don't worry, the bus stop is 100 metres from our house and you can easily reach the closest train station ( Campbelltown ) and the two main shopping centres.

  Before settling here in Australia with my husband and baby I was a traveler myself, backpacking around Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Europe. I met so many amazing people along the way and always told myself that one day I would return the hospitality I was lucky enough to receive while traveling. I would love to continue meeting people from around the world and sharing chats and travel stories.
  Italian & English are the languages talked in our home so if you are looking to learn / improve your vocabulary this is the right place for practice.
  My husband work 5am-3 pm and I’m around mostly of the day as I take care of our son , take him to activities & sport.
  We love the outdoor so you are more than welcome to join us for walks when free .
  If you love food, with us you will learn to make a delicious pizza , traditional tiramisu and the perfect Aussie bbq !

  Aide

  We are looking for a single person to help manly around the house ( cleaning , cooking , washing , gardening ) .
  You must love be around kids as we have one and he is full on . We may ask you some help to entertain our son while we are getting stuff done around .
  (note: you won't be left by yourself with him so don't worry if you don’t have much experience) .
  Your main task will be cleaning and gardening .
  We do have a schedule so you will know and will be able to organise yourself from day 1 . We would like for you to enjoy the area as much as possible so please just talk to us about your plan and we can be flexible with the timing of your hours.

  Hébergement

  You will have your own cozy room with a super comfy double bed .
  You can have your private bathroom with toilet , sink and shower, if you like . It’s just outside the house ( attached to the house , in the backyard) , otherwise you can share the main one with us . It’s up to you 😊, whatever you feel comfortable with.
  We provide sheets for bedding but you will need your own towels .
  
  We will provide some food for your brekky / lunch ( coffee, tea, eggs , milk , butter , bread , cereal , pasta , some veggie & fruits ) .
  We are happy to share a dinner together here and then but we do have commitments some nights so we won’t be able to stick with a routine or guaranteeing dinners .
  We would love for you to join us for dinner the day you will arrive .
  Would be a nice opportunity to know each other and hear some of your travel story / plan .
