Help two artists and musicians at our property in Provence, in the south of France

  Description

  We are Ferenz (French) and Kiane (German), two artists/musicians and a couple who need to take care of a huge property due to life circumstances. It is a big house of about 600m2 and a big garden that need some refreshment and care.
  
  This is where you come in !
  
  We have some DIY projects that need to be done such as the up-cycling of a wooden bench and installing a little pool for cold water dipping.
  
  We need a hand in the garden also for freeing the trees from leaves that had fallen down on them, planting some trees, make the garden look nice and well organized and water the trees and plants.
  
  There are no kids around but one cute cat that needs food and care throughout the day. So cat-lovers are welcome.
  
  We are very friendly and caring people. We do a lot of yoga and meditation throughout the day, we are both kundalini yoga teachers. We are very sensitive and creative human beings who love people and also being alone for elevating our mind and souls. We are both living on the property full time. But due to her job as a singer and actress, Kiane travels a lot and is sometimes absent for longer periods so it can happen that Ferenz will be the one hosting you alone sometimes. But as we do video calls several times a day, Kiane will absolutely be part of your Workaway experience. Also she is available for every workawayer during their stay so even if not physically present sometimes, Kiane is integrated in the Workaway processes.
  
  We are looking for nice and genius human beings who ideally have a sensibility for yoga and meditation and can at the same time work a lot with their hands in a practical and delicate way.
  
  We love arts, culture, philosophy, anthropology, music, dance, theater, cinema, food, vegan food, cooking, yoga, meditation, meals with friends and interesting discussions.
  
  The house is very beautiful and 50 klms to Avignon but also isolated. We have two cars so we can drive you places sometimes but ideally you would not need to go to the city so often but instead enjoy the quality time in nature and quiet. We are located in the middle of the lavender fields and there is a forest and a little stream very close. Medieval and beautiful old cities are close by such as "Suze la Rousse" with a wine university, La Garde d'Adhemar or Grignan.
  
  You will have your own room with either a double bed or a small bed and a bathroom (that Kiane might use from time to time).

  We are cultured, opened, intelligent, creative as well as nice and caring people with a good taste in arts, food, culture. Kiane is a singer and songwriter from Berlin and also has a master's degree in anthropology and traveled a lot in Nepal, Madagascar, La Réunion and all around Europe. She speaks four languages fluently and loves to learn new languages. Ferenz is a violinist and composer and has been living in New York, Hawaii, Japan, Bali, Mexico, and Los Angeles. We can sometimes play music together, sing, look at paintings and catalogues at the fireplace in the evening and cook great vegan dinners together. We can give tips to visit nearby, recommend hikes, do yoga, and meditation together.

  Aide

  Please note: We need independent and trustworthy, sensitive and delicate nice human beings. A couple, two friends or a solo person. Once we show you and explain you the work you should be able to work independently and effectively. We will be around and help you whenever needed of course :)
  
  Woodwork: The wood all around the house needs treatment, especially some bars of the roof and the wooden shutters of all windows and some doors (garage and doorway).
  
  DIY: We have some DIY projects that need to be done such as the up-cycling of a wooden bench and installing a little pool for cold water dipping.
  
  Garden work: We need a hand in the garden also for freeing the trees from leaves that had fallen down on them, planting some trees, make the garden look nice and well organized.
  
  Cats: There are no kids around but three cats that need food and care throughout the whole day as they have some special needs. So cat-lovers are welcome.
  
  General maintance: as the house is very big and the three cats are living in it too, we need a hand sometimes to clean the whole house, floors, windows, dishes and hanging out the laundry to dry.

  You will have your own room with either a double bed or a small bed and a private bathroom (that Kiane might use from time to time). The rooms are very nice and cozy.

  The house is beautiful and 50 klms to Avignon, but also a bit isolated. We have two cars so we can drive you places sometimes but ideally you would not need to go to the city so often but instead enjoy the quality time in nature and quiet. We are located in the middle of the lavender fields and there is a forest and a little stream very close. Medieval and beautiful old cities are close by such as La Garde d'Adhemar or Grignan. There are places to swim in summer, you can take the bike to discover the surroundings or just start hikes directly from the house.
