Description
You are welcome on a small farm-homestead very close to MARIBOR. Come and connect with mother nature as with yourself, helping us establish a long-term project on nice homestead through day to day tasks. We are in our 1st year of making our story, so we are more looking for people who are willing to work and help us create our beautiful story. Some of the work needed: gardening, general maintenance, DIY projects (small greenhouse, chicken hoop house, kid's tree house,...), carpentry, cooking, cleaning, making firewood...

Our goal is to find what you like to do, so you will feel comfortable with your stay, doing mainly things you like, but on the other hand also learn some new skills and knowledge.

IN THE WINTER TIME:
We will work according to the weather. Shorter periods of working outside. If cold outside, we will do some more stuff inside. In the winter time most of the outside work will be preparing firewood.
You can choose which tasks are best for you:
- General maintenance of the house and outside the house
- Gardening (seeding, bed prepping, watering, harvesting vegetables, ...)
- DIY projects (building with pallets, kid's tree house, chicken hoop house, ...)
- Renovating and reconstructing around our farm (shed, workshop, garage)
- Building a yurt, building A-shape house (long-term plan)

Hébergement
IN THE WINTER TIME:
You will sleep in the main house because of the cold weather.
Your stay will be in a small simple wooden cabin (500 m away from main house) where you will sleep and have your own peace.
FOOD: You will get 3 meals per day. You can eat all the meals with us. For individual wishes there is a shop 5 min away with a bike.
The food is mainly vegetarian, also vegan on request.
Breakfast:
- Oatmeal
- Bread (with butter and jam)
- Porridges (millet , buckwheat, spelt, corn-polenta, wheat gritz )
- Eggs
- Fruit
- Vegetables
Lunch/dinner:
- salads (mostly from seasonal vegetables)
- potatoes, rice, pasta, polenta, lentils, buckwheat, chickpeas ... with vegetable sauces,
- pizza (if you have some good recipe)
Snacks:
- apples
- bananas

IN THE WINTER TIME:
You can go skiing on Pohorje ski resort ()
...in your FREE TIME you can:
- stay on our farm and have time for yourself
- read our spiritual books
- explore the city of Maribor (nearest city bus is 15 min walking away from our homestead)
- visit Pohorje hill (1.500 m high)
- explore Slovenija (as our country is very small, you can organize yourself a weekend tours and visit all the beauty of our small country. For example Bled, Postojna cave, Kranjska gora, ...)
