Hello,
We are a family of 3 and we run an organic farm, with chicken and 2 dogs. Marc is an agricultural technician and we need your help to keep the farm in good shape as well as some maintenance works in our house. We try to develop all kinds of products, including our own olive oil.
If you wish to practice a specific language ( portuguese, french or english), then you have come to the right place! I have been a language teacher and have a degree in translations.
Also, Marc is a handy man - if you wish to learn a specific trade, especially in agriculture, building or mechanics, he can help you with that!

We are situated in a quite area, but only 4 km from the beach.
If you think this would suit you, please contact me as soon as possible. We accept couples or 3-4 people.
Please observe that the work is often very hard, when cleaning the fields etc. You can stay in either a small studio, or in an apartment with 2 bedrooms.
Me and Marc are very easy going people, positive and open. Marc is from Belgium, I am Portuguese and have lived 25 years abroad (both in Sweden and Luxembourg). Should you wish to better your knowledge in either portuguese, french or english, you came to the right place!

I speak and write several languages: Portuguese, french, english and swedish. If you wish to improve any of these, you came to the right place!
Besides languages, we can teach you the basics in organic agriculture as well as a bit of maintenance, like painting.
During certain times of the year, we need help to pick up olives, or almonds, for example. Other periods it is mostly cleaning and fixing (as we tend to accumulate work sometimes).
We always have things to be done, especially during winter and spring time, either around the house or outside.
Besides help around the house, like cleaning, organizing and maybe some cooking,
Any help is more than welcome :-)

We are situated in the Ria Formosa region. There are several beautiful islands to visit.
One can use the bycicles available. There are 4 km to the city.
