  About me
  
  I’m Devin. After studying physics and working in IT, I followed my passion for nature and studied agriculture, specialising in herbalism. I’m interested in sustainable farming, medicinal plants and practical ways of building a different relationship with the land. I enjoy sharing ideas, learning from others and seeing a project take shape through hands on work.
  
  
  This is an agricultural startup in the hills of Orco Feglino, near Finale Ligure and the sea. I’m bringing long abandoned land and stone buildings back into use, with the aim of developing a herbal tea business and a health focused agritourism project.
  The longer term plans include vegetable gardens, restoring olive groves and cultivating medicinal mushrooms. This is still an early stage project, and there is plenty to build before that vision becomes a reality.
  
  What is happening now
  
  Construction of the food processing workshop has now started, and I’m working hands on on site as well as coordinating the building work.
  At this stage, I’m mainly looking for one person with practical experience in building and repairing stone walls, who can work with a good degree of independence. The stonework is part of bringing the property back to life and preparing it for the next stages of the project.
  There are currently no crops to tend or agricultural tasks in the fields until next spring. Although medicinal plants and farming are central to the project’s future, the work available now is focused on stone walls.
  If you’re interested, please tell me about your previous stonework experience, what you have built or repaired, and which tasks you handled independently. Let me know whether you have worked with dry-stone walls, mortared stonework or both. Photos of previous work would be helpful.
  
  What I ask and offer
  I value practical experience, reliability, initiative and clear communication, along with an interest in the wider project.
  
  The minimum stay is one month, giving us time to get to know each other and see how we work together. I offer comfortable, independent accommodation free of charge. Work in the business is paid, with tasks, working hours, payment and practical arrangements agreed before your arrival.
  I’m especially interested in meeting someone who might see a longer term future here. If we enjoy working together and share a similar vision, I’d be happy to explore a closer collaboration, with the role and terms developing through mutual discussion.
  
  The local area
  We offer rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking, with beaches and the coast nearby. Medieval Finalborgo, the surrounding hill villages and the local food offer plenty to discover during your time off.

  During the free time you can enjoy the seaside, about 20 mins away with the bus or 15 mins by car. The spot is also very famous for climbing or mountain bike trails.
