About me as a host:
"I'm Devin and I run an agricultural startup. After studying physics and working in IT, I followed my passion for nature and studied agriculture, specializing in herbalism. I'm passionate about sustainable farming and medicinal herbs, and I believe in mutual learning.
About my project:
"My 8-hectare farm sits in the heights of Orco Feglino, just 12 km from Finale Ligure and the sea. I'm reclaiming land and stone houses abandoned for over 70 years, creating a herbal tea company and health-focused agritourism.
The project includes establishing vegetable gardens, restoring olive groves, and cultivating medicinal mushrooms. This is a startup in its early stages - we will start construction of a laboratory for medicinal plants and restoration of one stone house in a month (July 2025)."
What needs to be done:
"There's a wide variety of tasks to match different skills and interests , from physical work like fencing and stone building to lighter activities like herb cultivation and garden care:
Fencing installation
Land preparation and clearing
Grass cutting and maintenance
Dry stone wall building
Stone working and restoration
Vegetable garden care
Construction assistance
Medicinal herb cultivation".
What we ask and what we offer:
"We ask for a minimum commitment of one month, but we're also open to longer-term collaborations for those who'd like to stay longer.
We provide a comfortable free indipendent accommodation andan agricultural work contract. The hourly wage is based on experience and ranges from €10 to €18 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 days a week. We're excited to welcome motivated people who want to join our team and the oppurtunity to learn new knoledge and grow together."

"Orco Feglino and Finale Ligure are famous outdoor sports destinations , world-class rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking trails. Beautiful beaches for swimming are just 12 km away. Medieval Finalborgo, coastal caves, and charming hill towns. Great food scene and easy access to the Italian Riviera by public transport." -
